Radar doesn't look good and with a three hour plus (one way) drive I may have to skip this one.

At IMS and its raining pretty good. Radar shows atleast another hour of rain. Not looking good.

If it does do the "R" thing,, and with back to back events is there a posted rain date by chance?

It looks like the heavier thunderstorms stayed to to the southern end of the city. fingers crossed the track takes the moisture and we have an exciting race tonight. Hoosier Hundred is always a highlight of the weekend!!

Almost there. Supposed to clear out around 3 and be ok. I think. 😳

Definitely looking brighter to the west. That's a good sign!!

As of 45 min ago, they are still a go. Rain should be moved out of area around 3:30

The sun is out here in Crawfordsville and the weather forecast for Indianapolis is 40% chance of scattered thunderstorm at 5 PM in Indy and clear the rest of the night until midnight when there is a 30% chance of isolated thunderstorms. It's up to each and every one and I know the chance you are taking coming from a distance but my feelings are that it is a go for the Hoosier 100. We made the mistake of not going to Gas City last Friday on the forecast and not only got rained out at Vermillion County but sounds like we miss a humdinger of a feature at Gas City!! :6::23::22::8:

Thanks for the updates, guys. I eventually threw caution to the wind (actually rain) and made the trip. Glad I did. My IOW mates sold me on it!
