Bloomington or IRP?

Josh Burton Memorial or Carb Night Classic?

Re: Bloomington or IRP?

It really depends on what you want to see. The Burton family, Bloomington Speedway, and the Bloomington race family go all out for this event honoring a nice young man that was lost too soon. With that being said, I will be at IRP. I am going to Carb Day, and by the time I leave I won't feel like taking on the traffic to Bloomington.

There's no question about it Dirt/Red Clay and Josh Burton Memorial. Its a great race in the memory of a great young man.

Count us in for Bloomington! We love the big cars but the last time we went to IRP the car count was low and the racing was a noncompetitive romp. We will instead honor the memory of a fine young man taken from us far too early.

The above quote fits my reasons for being at Bloomington perfectly!

Bloomington for us Pennsylvania guys. We will catch the Dirt Champ Cars at the Indy State Fairgrounds the next night.

Re: Bloomington or IRP?

Check that, we will catch them THE NIGHT BEFORE, still not sure where we are heading on Saturday but doing the "500" and Kokomo double on Sunday

The Dirt Champ Cars at the Indy State Fairgrounds are the night before the Josh Burton Memorial (Thursday, May 26th)

Disregard; I didn't see your post that corrected your first

If your going to Bloomington, just remember constuction traffic on 37/i69 from Martinville to north end of Bloomington. The traffic isn't real bad most of the time, but if does add to your tarvel time.

Did both last year, too bad USAC f-ed that option up for this year. They moved the Hoosier to Thursday because the Speedway activities hurt the fairgrounds crowd, guess that isn't an issue for IRP.

What night would there have been no conflicts? I think this is better than going against the Little 500.

Last year they ran at IRP Saturday and entire event was complete in plenty of time to get to Anderson for the Little 500.

I did the quad last year of Indy Mile, Bloomington, IRP and Anderson.

Last year we did TH on wed, Hoosier thurs, Lites fri day, Bloomington fri nite, Legends day & IRP sat day, Putnamville sat nite, the 500 sun day and almost made Angell Park sun nite.
This year's plan is TH, Hoosier, IRP, Legends & Putnamville, the 500 & Angell Park if we can get outta Indy quick enough.
