This was a great race last year.

Last year was a darn good race. Hoping The Chief can make it back to back wins!!!

Did you hear this from a good source? I would think if that was true they would cancel early. Hope not I am looking forward to this race.

That would not surprise me. Got the day off from work. My luck!
However, I remember going to a race up there years ago in mid to late May.. The coldest I've ever been at a race track. It was May!!

We'll be making the 3 hour trip over to THAT.

I hope they pack the place with cars and spectators alike.

Glad to see Dave Darland has a ride. Last weekend at the No Way Out 40 someone I spoke with said he didn't have a Silver Crown ride this year.

CJ Leary picks up his first USAC win!!! What a great race. If I never have to sit outside in the wind again, it'll be too soon.

How was mods

Only two heats, not a huge car count. Kenny Wallace and Ken Schrader started on front row with Wallace setting the pace and leading the whole way. A.J. Fike put on a good charge after Wallace a couple of times but to no avail. Pretty clean race with minimal cautions, overall decent race to watch.

Congrats to Leary on the win! Nice to see him get the W after so close last year and it being his first USAC win!

Seemed like the 100 lapper got over quicker than the 30 lapper :18:

That was a real good race. Grant was out front, but Leary pressured him the whole time. Bacon and Swanson battled all day, and I saw the big cars throwing sliders. For most of the race, the top was the fast way around. It's just cool to see them run the wall for that long. Congrats to Leary who pounced when he got the opportunity. Overall it was a lot of good, clean green flag racing. So happy I went.

How was the crowd for the race? Good, I hope?

It wasn't to bad. Considering the wind!! temperature. Decent crowd. So glad the wind was blowing away from the ground instead towards us. Fierce constant wind. Bought knocked my over a couple times.. Gust.. Great race!

Must say, I Was on the fence with the weather(wind) but packed up and made the 2 hour drive anyway. No regrets!
So happy I went. The show kept moving (as it should) and this day race on a Sunday brought back bittersweet memories of the good old Hut 100 when it was run here like this.
In the past the Sunday daylight races worked well in Fall and Spring. This race was proof of that. Kudos to Usac and Track Enterprises for a well run event.

Levi seems to be running a pretty tight ship so far. Excellent race. Takes skill and patience to wheel these big cars for 100 laps while saving equipment yet pushing the limit simultaneously. Maneuvering that big heavy car that many laps, that close to THAT wall takes continuous concentration. Track held up well under sunshine and fierce winds. Thank you track crew. Thanks to all the drivers/car owners for doing your part for making this a competitive race and series. Love these big ole lumbering race cars from their unique starting procedures to their final lap heroics. Good day at the old ball park. Congrats go out to CJ Leary on first victory, well deserved. JMO

RPRACING1 could not have expressed our sentiments any better so I won't even try. It was a good race under adverse conditions and everyone (drivers, officials & track crew) should get thumbs up for a job well done. Very much enjoyed our day at Terre Haute. The modifieds especially AJ Fike (7th starter) and Richie Lex (9th starter using the high side) ran very well also. :22:

Loved the early starting time and the pace of the program. I feel Richie Lex deserves a shoutout for his drive in the modified feature. He really has a Modern Day Cowboy style in the modifieds. Great Silver Crown race and it was nice to be back on the road while the sun was still shining!

I was there too yesterday great race great drive by A.J.Fike in the modified where was his Champ Dirt Car at though!

Just want to congratulate C.J. Leary and team on a well deserved win.

BTW, My five USAC win prediction was for Sprints with Dutcher, The way e ran saturday proved he'll be tough.

As for the Crown win. OUTSTANDING!

Car count seemed a little light. Guys just not ready yet or are we going to see 20 cars at the fairgrounds in 6 weeks?

Congrats C.J. on USAC first win. Expect more cars at Hoosier 100, most are geared for the mile tracks plus THAT is notoriously rough on the Silver Crown cars so some teams save em for May. Good race.
