Justin Wilson

Justin Wilson was seriously injured late in the Indy Car race at Pocono today. It seems the nose cone of Sage Karam's wrecked machine flipped into the air and came down in Wilson's cockpit area. Wilson was airlifted out of the speedway and no further information was available when the network signed off. Please keep Justin and his family along with Andretti Motorsports in your prayers. Thank you.

Bruce and Pat Eckel

If we have no family or official report. Then don't report it. That was Bills rule.

I see Jacob Wilson Quashing rumors on FB and twitter now.

Please keep it to official and documented sources.
And Prayers for Justin!

indy car twitter coma and critical 3 mins ago As IndyCar Series driver Justin Wilson lies in a coma in a Lehigh Valley hospital from a head injury suffered in today's race at Pocono Raceway, NASCAR driver/owner Tony Stewart has donated his plane to fly Wilson's family to his bedside. People should know that about Tony Stewart.

While you're right about Bill's rule on this, Chuck, nobody has said anything that wasn't in the IndyCar report that was released a hour ago. Thoughts and prayers from all racing fans that this will turn for the better.

Jerry

Brothers and he didn't race in the US very long, short stint in indy cars. My mistake on that, it was Stephan, regardless prayers sent.

Re: Justin Wilson

Justin Wilson had a local connection. He drove the Dad's Root Beer car owned by Dreyer and Reinbold and sponsored by Hedinger Beverage Company in Jasper, IN. News and sportscaster Walt Ferber at WITZ in Jasper mentioned the local connection. I remember Walt having him on his radio program when he drove for Dad's Root Beer.

If it's OK to post, I'm sure a lot of people have read it by now, but Tony Stewart has sent an airplane to pick up Justin's parents, so they can be with him. Bob

I don't care what your opinions are of Tony Stewart as everyone has their right to their own but Smoke is a class act, in more ways than one.

Still thinking about the Wilsons and the team.

For a lot of us and it's one big family and Wilson was a part of that.

Sadly these are the dangers we live with each race. knowing something like this can happen.
