Flora MSCS race
With so many big name drivers opting to run the Dick Gaines Memorial at Lawrenceburg, I am curious about what drivers will run the Laura Stockon Memorial at Flora. Anybody have any info?
Thanks! |
Re: Flora MSCS race
Pretty sure you can count on Stockon :) Mitch Wissmiler? Short? Possibly Bland, Cummins, Briscoe?
All three big shows are drawing some heavies. Fremont's getting Simon, Westerfeld, Swanson and others. Still lots of position's and all these guys can be beat by locals on a good night, All three are 300 or better to start and have contingencies. Its not sprint week where its hard to even make the show if your any good at all. Go to what works best for you and enjoy it! They all need our support :) |
Flora is a standard $2000 to win to $200 to start purse with the added money only on top, which makes it $3232 to win. $125 to win Heats and $300 Hard Charger Award.

Re: Flora MSCS race
Does it really matter what driver goes where? If you have a favorite driver and want to see them race go there! If you are just a fan of racing choose a Track, Any Track and go! You will be at a RaceTrack and that's one of the best things on earth! Enjoy!

Here at Flora. Have no idea how many sprints are here. Looked like a decent amount of people at the drivers meeting.

I heard 18 but don't quote me

I can add commentary every once in a while. Carson short working around a few cars before a caution on lap 4. He's in 3rd behind Kinser and Budde. Short was about to work under Budde for second. Should be a fun few laps to watch!

Just past halfway. Red for Williams as he tangles with Stockon. Unfortunately Stockon loses a rear tire in the mess.

Chet Williams is ok. Car being towed off. Chase has been pushed into the infield. Appears he is done for the night.
Chase had lapped all the way up to the 6th car before the red. |
