Sad to say but now Stewarts Lawyers ought to file about seven suits against the Wards. Defamation of charictor, Loss of income etc.

Sick of this.

Seeking to again sensationalize a sad accident at this time is just sad.

Hard for parents to admit their sons actions got himself killed. Got to blame Stewart like money will make it all better, SAD.

Completely agree, and what do the Wards have to gain from reliving all of it again besides losing their lawsuit? Did they forget everything that the grand jury took a look at (drugs in system, running onto a track with cars rolling, etc)

If you get a chance to read it, USA Today has the copy of the law suit. Every negative claim against Tony in the suit was rebutted by the grand jury. I hope and pray that Tony and his lawyers take this to trial. Justice has to be served in this deal and the evidence is all in Tony's favor.

Jhop2374 8/7/15 8:20 PM

It's sad to see this happen I'm not a big Tony fan but as we all know this is a amblance chasing lawyer who see's a chance to make the big time.

Your correct on justice being served but it sounds like the opinion here is one sided.
there was a trace of THC in his system wich can stay for 30 days or more. REEFER.
On drugs, That's a different story. Running on the track very stupid. Unfortunatly this young man is dead. I have no ax to grind but to say let this run its course rather than a character assassination on this 18 year old.

Very sad situation. Tony has to deal with this everyday of his life. Kevin's bad decision has made a lot of lives miserable around the situation. I feel for the family and Tony. Sad that this is what the world has come too. We should not have to worry about getting a lawsuit when we strap in because of an accident.

The family would be wise to take the very first offer they get. I don't see them getting a bunch of money. Sad thing is, even though they were hurting, they could have a shown a little class, and Tony would have probably been there for them forever.

Surprised it took this long, hopefully they lose.

I agree if they'd had been decent people about it he'd been supportive for them, look at what he's done for other racers having a hard time. Too bad they're classless people.

"Tantillo also revealed that according to toxicology reports, Ward was under the influence of marijuana on the night of the crash. Ward was apparently under such a significant influence that the drug likely impaired his judgment."

A little more than just a "trace" amigo 👍

Everyone loses in a suit like this, except the lawyers.

Then maybe you shouldn't comment on something you haven't followed. That info was available after results of investigation was released almost a year ago now.

Wow! If I'm Beavis that must make you Butthead. You are a special one aren't you?

Since you don't have "a dog in this fight" you might want to refrain from posting inaccurate information involving it.

My apologies for offending you with my ealier post. My intent was harmless and sincere. Personally, if I join a discussion and I'm blatantly incorrect I would hope someone would correct me without confrontation as I did you so that I wouldn't look like a "Racin Fool".

Have a great day Mr. Bliss!

I think it is more than a coincidence that they waited til this week to file suit. Cynically, I can't see this as anything other than seeking retribution.
