Well, now I've got a tough decision to make. The Laura Stockon Memorial is running that evening at Flora, IL and I was planning to attend that, but now I have another choice. Since Flora is much closer than Lawrenceburg and in the same time zone as Evansville, that may have a major influence. I'm sure both tracks will present excellent races. Another factor is that I haven't been to Flora since the new promoters took over, and I have been to Lawrenceburg once this year, for the season opening USAC sprint car race.

Yup, was certainly nice meeting you last year Eddie! Going to make this one with a little help but might be last race of the year for me making three total down from a 35-45 average.

I hope to see a lot of sprint cars and a fantastic race. My wife and I have been married for a little over two years and this will be the first race she has ever been to in her life. I hope it makes a lasting impression on her and she will want to see more races. I have told her that there is no better racing than sprint cars so it should be a great night.

Hopefully Darland will be there in the Walker 11 and maybe Ballou and Bacon unless he is in Knoxville for the Nationals. Should be a great night whoever shows up to run in the memory of one of the giants of the sport Dick Gaines.

This is a Nationally televised race to air at a later date! Racers it's your chance to be on TV. Thanks to Sean Buckley and the Indiana Sprint Series! And also winner gets the coolest trophy I have ever seen.

Seen confirmation on Ballou's FB that he'll be there.
Maghee and Stanbrough as well. Still leaves a lot of positions to fill and contingencies to be won. Many of the $$ teams are either down getting ready for Smackdown, Racing Knoxville or split between three big shows. Can't wait! :) |

Hope Dickie is there as well, Has been racing the Soudrette 44 with several top five finishes. Kinda races like Jason, Gets behind early but comes on like a charging bull.
Dickie about five years ago took the Stevens sprinter if im not mistaken from last to first in the consi in a lap and a half. Was a sight to see. Didn't do great in the feature but it was highlight of the night. :) |

Can't be at the Berg tonight. But we now have a Culvers in Port Orange Florida so it's burgers and ice cream at Culvers as close as we can come Their ice cream is as good as the sprints in your neighborhood. So we will have to settle for that. At least we will get to see it on tv. Thank you Jackslash and everyone else involved.
