Kokomo tonight ??????
 

Any news from track ?????? I understand the forecast is bleek but I'm hopeful positive thinker. Is the track ok now assuming weather holds off today?? Haven't been to Kokomo yet this year so was looking forward to tonight.

I just left the track a little bit ago.... nice breeze blowing and the sun has just popped out now..... the track was damp but looks like it should be great racing for this evening.

Leaving Osgood for some great racing at Kokomo and going to half moon for lunch and a kokomomoster.

We are on our way and will be stopping at Half Moon too! Hoping Mother Nature cooperates tonight. #GYATK

Half Moon in Kokomo

Half-Moon is located in Kokomo. It's located on 931 and center road. They love sprint car racing and they sponsor my race car! It's great food!

I wouldn't get overly excited, storming like crazy here in Lafayette and it looks to be moving towards Kokomo :-( only the weather God really knows...but I am saying a no go

5 minute steady rain here at track Ten minutes ago now sun shining. Still need some luck with what's coming

USAC just tweeted it is postponed until next Sunday

I don't think it's the O'Connors issue at this point, better talk to the big guy upstairs and look at your radar

@USACNation: Today's Indiana Midget Week event at Kokomo Speedway has been postponed to next Sunday due to rain. All pit passes are good for then.

smart decision in my opinion! We are soaked in Kokomo so any more rain I will be in a boat. I have water in my yard and that doesnt usually happen

In my opinion, it is ONE of the best places on earth, correct...and I think most Kokomo attendees on a regular basis know that the O'Connors do put in every effort to get a race in when conditions allow. I still think you need to take up the issue with the big man upstairs and then be mad at USAC for pulling the plug next....what did stirring things up gain?

At least Kokomo reschedules races, Lawrenceburg doesn't reschedule anything

Damned if ya do and damned if ya don't. Certainly can't make everyone happy.

We will make the 2.5 hour one-way trip back to Kokomo next Sunday and have a great time celebrating Father's Day.

I saw the Kiwi boys at a car wash in Avon around 5; sure hope they weren't giving the cars one last cleaning before loading them in the container for the trip home...anybody know if they can hang for another week?

Seems not everyone is on board with the decision to race next week. Quite a few rebuttals on twitter. Some say they should race tomorrow

I was at the track at 6:30. the pits were a mess. I feel for the long distance travelers, but it rained.

Not suggesting they should move the race up, by the way; just hope the lads from "dan undah" can make it...

It wasn't my idea, just something I read on twitter. And I must admit, to the teams that have traveled a long way, it might have been a better option. For me personally, hoping to use the father day ***** card that I couldn't use today! :D

Wrong!!.....World of Outlaws are rescheduled for Friday Oct. 16th.
