This Friday is the Lewis Morgan Memorial race paying an additional $2000 to the sprint winner ($3400 total). It is also DARF Night--current members receive 50% off grandstand admission.

The reason this race is a non-points race for the sprints is because of the added money. Happens to any of the classes at Gas City--additional payout makes it a non-points race.

I'm working at the Frog Follies, the annual street rod show at the Vanderburgh 4 H Fairgrounds, on Friday morning, so Gas City is definitely out of the question. I have to have a racing fix each weekend for the sake of my mental health, so I'll go watch the wings at Bloomington. I wonder how the car count will be?

I would say the car count Friday night at Bloomington will be pretty good. I know of a few regulars who will be putting on the wings and giving it a shot.

Gas City should be a great car count also.

at least thats what my shirt says. I bet bloomington will have around 26 and gas city will have close to 40. I think the burg is down saturday that might help both places

Its been posted on a flyer at the front gate for a long time. I started to post it when that track in northern Ohio posted saying they were going to run a non wing show up there this fall , but I forgot too.

Bob lost his bet. Landon didn't fall asleep until we were on I-69 north. He lasted maybe 10 minutes.

It helped that he played on the playground after the sprint feature. Then we went to see Bob and Monica. Bob and I talked awhile and Landon played with their new puppy.

I really thought that Dave would have something for Darren, but no.

Great race tonight, really enjoyed getting a early start on the ride home. Pulled in the drive here in Aurora at 12:50. Was just wondering if anyone had any idea where Brady Short was tonight. Didn't see his name on the B-town list either. Bob

I don't think he was anywhere on Friday. His hauler was still parked at the shop as I drove by on my way to Bloomington.
