Ordered from speed parts?? I Need Radius Rods
 

A few weeks ago I ordered 5 - 3/4 x 15 inch and 4 - 1/2 x 12.5 inch radius rods from Speed Parts. Today I find out that they CANCELLED my order because when I learned that I'd be waiting 2 weeks for my parts (after I had them 2 day shipped to me) which I found out the day they should have been delivered when I called them. The guy who has the personality of a sack of hammers cancelled my order because in my frustration I said "that's fine" and got off the phone to continue working on whatever I was working on. Seriously unorganized is my experience with Speed Parts. SO if anyone is making radius rods PM me needing them PDQ.

Wow. That's sad to hear. It wasn't like that when Larry owned it.

I have tried to reach them at least a dozen times over the past year and have never gotten a return call. Don't understand how anyone can stay in business with that kind of customer service

The woman I spoke with today was apologetic, she was kind and I must give credit to that. However it abruptly changed when I was accused of hanging up on who I assume is her son resulting in the cancelling of my order. I did have to hang up while on hold for Mr. Douglas but I think an 84 year old grand mother trumps race car parts! haha:3:

Call Rod end Supply. I ordered some Monday AM via fax, and they arrived Wednesday AM as always. Rod end Supply makes them stocks them ,and supports open Wheel racing. No BS- just get your parts and they have good parts.

I called rod end supply after 5 o'clock and the guy was more than helpful. Will be doing ALL the business I can with this man. Great service.

Rod End Supply in my opinion is the only place to buy tubes. Besides rod ends(having every configuration know to man kind) swedge tubes he has a wide array of other quality products like torsion bars and levers, birdcages and bearings and a big list of other race hardware. Great products, first class service and a guy with a company that really supports all racing.

Wow. Thanks everyone for the kind words. We try hard, but not always perfect.
We have some great dealers out there as well.
Speed Partz is also one of our dealers. They are good people. They are having a few growing pains as all companies do that get more involved with retail sales. Keep working with them as they will work with you.
