Hot lapping now.

All cars transfer. Top 2 redraw.

Heat 1 finish - cottle. Stanbrough. Ballou. Shuman. Farney. Hery. Frederickson. Close finish between Stanbrough and Cottle at the line.

Heat 2. Lap 3. Red for donelson. He is out and ok. His car goes off on the hook. Gurley pulled off pit side as well.

Heat 2 finish. Short. Grant. Darland. Boespflug. Gaines pulled off with a few laps to go. Another close finish up front.

Heat 3 finish. Red for Prock. Climbed out under his own power. Cars looks to be in pretty rough shape. Stuff hanging everywhere. Glad he was able to climb out on his own.

Heat 3 finish. Leary. KT. T Mez. Coons. Robbins. Jarrett.

Feature lineup

Pushing cars off now.

Green!

Grant out to early lead. Short. Leary. Stanbrough. Cottle.

Grant has 1/2 lap lead.

Grant spins in lead but keeps going. Short to the lead!

Yellow as the white flag waves for Jarrett. Now short pulls off (was leading) smoking. Restart order - grant. Leary. Stanbrough. T Mez. Ballou. Cottle.

Finish - grant. Stanbrough. T Mez. Leary. Ballou. Cottle. Boespflug. Coons. Robbins. KT.

What a race. Grant us a dominating lead til he spun and lost the lead to Short. It was setting up to be quite a battle between Short and Grant until the yellow came out.

Didn't see what happened but under the yellow Darland pulled off. Great way to end a beautiful weekend!

Oh, and on the road by 8:48. Not even dark yet. Will make it not such a late night.

I didn't see a lot of great racing tonight at Kokomo. I didn't see it because I was watching other great racing. It simply wasn't possible to watch all the great battles. Two wide - Ha. Lots of three wide and even the occasional four wide. Only at Kokomo would you see what we saw tonight. You certainly don't need 40 cars to have a great race. Justin's performance was simply outstanding. He and the Hery car are really, really tough at Kokomo. The rest of the year should be outstanding. Can't wait until the May 17 race.

That was a fantastic race and out the door early. Back home just shortly after 10pm. You have to feel bad for Brady Short. Get the lead and then have engine problems, what a bummer, but what a great race.

Awesome race & a great track. My question is why such a low car count for a KISS show on a Sunday night ??
