I really want to go.... but my current employment situation says no.

I went to this race last year with the kids and, even with the rain, still had fun. The Tony Bettenhausen 75 was entertaining.... especially with all 39 cars charging down to take the green!

If any of you get in the pits stop by the 81 car and say Hi. It's a new team with a first time SC driver (Patrick Bruns) and we are having some fun. The boy's have put in some overtime to prepare this car for this event. Most of you know what a task it takes for a small team to make it to these events and to be able to race. A few words of welcome and encouragement goes a long way in enjoying your efforts and late hours of work. Hope to see everyone their.

That should be a nonfactor: Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 81. East wind around 5 mph becoming south.

No rain forcasted from tonight through Monday. Parlty Sunny and 81 with light winds. THat is about as perfect as it gets for Illinois in August.

Hopefully we will make it. I am down with some respitory infection, goin' to the doc to get some pills.
My spot is to the right of the T-1 tunnel. Dirty, we should meet up if I make it!
