usac is a sanctioning body. The race track is suppose to promote the race.

I'm sure this has something to do with Amsoil, as they are big into snowmobile racing.

Really???? I dont disagree a track needs to promote races. To say a sanctioning body is not to be a promoter is a very interesting view. Why would a sanctioning body not want to have large car counts and large crowds. They depend on these two things as much as a track. Low car count equals small crowds which make a track not likely to want to pay a sanctioned race. Less sanctioned races eventually leads to sanction folding. If there ever was a entity that needs to promote, its a sanctioning body.

Did anybody read the part about "Participant's INSURANCE"??

That is a pretty good deal and say what you like about USAC, it does a pretty good job in that department.

They should stage a large snowmobile race in the dead of winter in, let's say Hayward, WI, and call it "The Chilly Bowl"! :8:

Ron

I have been to Tulsa when it was so cold all they would have to do is open the doors and have an indoor Snowmobile race.:5:

It's time for change in usac and I mean management ITS TIME! !!!!!!

The World of Outlaws (World Racing Group) promotes the hell out of their events. I use events or show on purpose as it is much more than a race. NASCAR could use some of their methods.

Must see racing dose a great job as well USAC don't care as long as they can make the big salaries all is good

What is usac doing that upsets folks. I'm a fan not a competitor, and speaking from that point of view, there's no other show I look forward to spending my racing dollar on more than usac sprint cars. It's not always perfect, but I haven't seen many other programs where I would say after the first heat, "that race alone was worth the money"

Ok so the snowmobile racers use USAC insurance for the next year. They get hurt a lot. The cost of USAC insurance goes up. So who will have to pay more next spring? On a side note, Honda is the midget sponsor, but Toyota engines win all the races, how long will that last?

Go thing they are not going to promote ice ovals, the 1981 ESRA runner up would have had to come out of retirement.
