There are a variety of options at Wheatland I would suggest the Jesse Hockett Memorial with the ASCS National tour and WAR Sprints(local non wing series) or in the spring they have a show with ASCS Warrior region, POWRi Midgets and WAR Sprints.

The Springfield and the Duquoin miles for starters. Belleview half mile would be another nice road trip.

With the uncertainty of Gas City still lingering, I'm thinking a Friday trip to Bloomington and Saturday for a first time to either Tri-state or the 'Burg. All while camping at Brown County S.P.! Then back home for the Sunday night cap @ Kokomo. Would like to check T.H.A.T. off the list as well.

Bowman-Gray
Angel Park
Ventura
Perris
Little Belleville

Sad to say its hard to get off the porch when the racing is so good right here.

East Bay now. Lived three years only 30 min away but never went because they never ran nw sprints. Now that I've moved back to Indiana, USAC runs East Bay. So looks like a week back in the sun is coming.

Macon I been there 2 times this year and yet to see a race!!!:D

Peoria, Arizona
Devils Bowl-Mesquite, Texas
New York State Fairground-Syracuse, New York for Super Dirt Week, especially the Silver Crown portion (if 'Cuse is on the schedule in 2015).

New tracks I hope to visit: Kokomo for non wing sprints & Little Belleville for a midget show. I'm sure I'll find a reason to visit some others too.

John,

I'm surprised that you haven't been to Little Belleville. Thought I had seen you there, but I am obviously mistaken.

Can't believe I am going to say this, but the winged sprints put on a hell of a show at Angell Park this past summer. 4 wide out of turn 2 on the last lap. USAC put on a really good show as well now that the guardrail is out. Come check out the Prairie... You wont be disappointed.

As for me, in the order of desire
1. Kokomo (still haven't been and I feel soooo dirty for it)
2. Thunderbowl
3. Eldora
4. The Burg

The last 2 years I had it on my list to go to the 1st show of the year there late March/early April both times it rained out.

My bucket lists for 2015
1. Haubstadt ( hard getting down there when you do the scoring at pelier on SATs :))
2. THAT, was on the way there for the Friday race and it washed out as we had just went through Indy.
3. Chili bowl if my funds are okay..
4. Friday tracks with gas city probably not running a weekly show (they will run).

I'd definitely consider those first two. Stop by and pick me up, Scotty. I'll buy your gas and it's not out of your way that much (Fairlawn addition). :23:

Hey Scotty and Danny,
If I get the privilege to flag at WRP during some shows, let me know I got your general admission covered. Come on out for The Hewitt Classic for all traditional sprints, or the Harvest for Traditional, winged, any minis.

And my list: Just any track I haven't been to.....

If you go to Wheatland it is a good idea to take a dust mask. It is ussually tippy toe anound the huggy pole and will also sometimes take rubber before hot laps are done.
I did see an great Sprint Bandit show there one year when they had 3 inches of rain the night before, the track is so tight it stayed smooth but was multi groved

That wasn't what I needed to hear...I was hoping for 3 wide,Balls to the wall racing!!..Thanks for the heads-up,though....:32:
