Brownstown weather
 

Any updates on what the weather is there? Got a 3 hour drive and want to avoid driving to a rainout.

Wondering the same think I'm wait to haul down until tomorrow. Messed my back last night anyhow, not sure I could even climb in my racecar today!

Yup Al sometimes the truth just doesn't go over well here. BTW it worked out pretty much the way I was afraid it would last weekend.

Anyway...the question was about WEATHER. Storm front coming thru Friday early, but what they show now is that its all south of U.S. 40 (or I-70). Take this as just another weatherman guess, right now spotty storms and no area is listed as a total washout. Keep an eye on the radar and watch IOW for our great race fans to keep you informed.

Don't even talk about the weather after last weekend of turning around on two different days and 400 miles for nothing. Isn't that right Hoover

Saw on Twitter that Brady short won and Briscoe 2nd...so I guess the weather was ok.

Did Brady take the money or the pole for tomorrow night?

It was posted on Brownstown's FB page that you could choose the money or a guaranteed start in your feature (not the pole - tag the tail if you don't transfer).

Anyone have the complete results from the sprint feature?

How was the track? Was it typical black slick Brownsotwn or did the weather help the track out and keep it tacky throughout the night?

Sandy .. if you read brownstown site page you will see the winners were to start on pole if they did not take the cash.. this is also how it was done last year.

I've been to Brownstown several times this year and the track has seemed to get better each time. A big difference from the past years. At the Jackson 100 a couple of weeks back, several cars broke the track record, qualifying in the 13 second bracket.

Any know if Brady took the money or the pole?

black slick brownstown seems to be a thing of the past. fast every time ive been this year other than the No way out

Don, I was just repeating what Brownstown Speedway posted on their FB page. Must have been wrong since they have now removed it.

Track had a couple slick spots, of which I found and looped out, but all in all it wasn't bad

Looking doubtful for tonight. Anyone close have a birds eye view of conditions there? Green on radar isn't always an indication of how much is falling.

Cancelled... "Trick or Treat" races start tomorrow at 10 am then they will go into the sprint show around noon.

I wonder if guys will race 2 features in one day! Brownstown and then Haubstadt a few hours later. I bet some of them will!! That's a win win for the fans. You can go to both in one day!! If the weather holds off!! Lets hope it does!! :)

who were some of the drivers at brownstown that may try this?

I thought the make up day was going to be Sunday. Did they change that due to weather on Sunday.

I will have American Racer tires for the sprint cars if anyone needs anything

I'm a beginner but am going to try it. I need seat time. Figure Short and Bland might try as well

according to their facebook page its all cancelled for this year
