This saturday night October 4th our last point race of 2014. The non wing sprint car race we all been waiting for...$1500 to win $200 to start....plus ump modifieds..pure stocks..ump bmods..and hornets

Brandon Mattox is planning on being there... I have heard rumors of Ballou..Stockon.. C.short.and others..it should be a great show...Never been to Flora? This will be a good one to start with.

Hopefully with no other non wing sprint shows going on in the area Saturday, they will draw a large field. Kevin has stepped it up this year hosting MSCS and MOWA races. He is doing a good job at CCS and I hope that racers and fans will show their support by supporting this race.

Forecasted Temps for Saturday...60 for the high and 40 for low...
Therefore we are moving the start time up 1 hour!
Gates will open at 3:30, drivers meeting at 5:30, and hot laps at 6, racing at 6:30.

Sprints normally run first feature.

I live in a strange land, Fanthom. I'm not aware of how they operate. It could be molasses slow despite the predicted temps for all I know so I thought I would ask. Now, back to watching Dr. Strangelove.

:D ....okay, i guess....?.. .? Sorry, your question just kind of struck me as either accusatory or just vague, it is hard to judge tone or attitude on the internet sometimes. I've been to both of Kevin's tracks and they usually move along without much "messing around". Prepare for some downtime at intermission usually for the kids to get out on the track and meet drivers, etc, which I think is pretty cool. This isnt long though, and they are usually doing a little prep work at the time. Flora really is a racy little track. Have fun, doubt I can make it this weekend.

Ron, I agree. Tom, Just go and enjoy the races. One of the last of the year. I will not be there as this is Dads weekend at IU. Hope they have a good show.

For the most part we do run things thru at a quick pace...at least we try....we do take time for kids at intermission for the kids fan club which is very important for the future of our sport...as the fan club is going on the sprints are lining up to be pushed off, awaiting the kids club gets completion,
thanks and every effort will be made to complete the show by 10 pm, since we are starting one hour earlier!

Kevin, You might wanna order a few more hamburger buns & coffee urns.
For those of you wimping out, this is no different than going to the football game this time a year, just dress for it.
With the early start & moving the show right along its just 3-4 hours for us fans. So Much longer for the performers & support staff.
I for one appreciate each & everyone of them that comes out to put something on the track for my enjoyment.
