October 10th Harvest Of Sprint

1 Attachment(s)
Last year this was a phenomenal show and one that you will want to make every effort to come see. If you like open wheeled sprint racing them WRP is your place to be on October 10th. Schedule your vacation day now because you can follow it up with another all sprint show the next night down the road.

double checkered 9/29/14 9:28 PM

I have offered to reimburse the pit entry fee ($30) for every driver who enters all three classes and takes a competition green. I hope for a good turn out of cars, drivers, and fans. I'll see your there.

Have never seen a race at Waynesfield, but planning on changing that on the 10th. Looking forward to a good show.

Dadgum dude I want a job where you work !!! it would be nice to see 5 or more guys take the challenge.

Is there any mini sprint guys calling say a T-Mez, PPMiller or the like ?

double checkered 9/30/14 5:15 PM

You don't want a job where I work. I just do what I can to help out those that put on the show. I'm always a fan first and its just a little way to say thanks. I'd buy all their passes if I could.....but I'm not "that" guy. It's gonna be a good one.

The Mini Sprint purse is a really nice one throughout the field. This show is better this year than last. Let's all hope for decent weather.

Fun Fest in Brownstown for sprints on Friday the 10th much closer to my house! Lots of good drivers will be there! Takes to long to get to Waynesfield on a Friday! But I would like to make a race up there in the future sounds like a great place. :)

WRP DK 10/5/14 8:41 PM

Well the week of this big event is here. We plan on topping the great event last season and look for a great turnout. That's how races like this stay on the schedules. Hope to see you all there.

PIT CART 10/6/14 12:42 PM

Took a vacation day Saturday so I can do the double. Where do campers park at waynesfield and any good shortcuts to the big e? First time to visit WRP and really looking forward to it.

double checkered 10/6/14 5:31 PM

There is plenty of space for campers. Most end up by the concession stand by the main entrance.
The best way to Eldora is to leave the racetrack and turn right on Waynesfield Road head south. The first stop sign you come to is Route 33. Turn right. Take that to Celina. I think it turns into route 29. Turn left on south main street in Celina. That is Route 127. Follow to Northstar Fort loramie road (about 17 miles) There is a sign for Eldora at traffic light. Turn right Follow that road. Will be a sharpe 90 degree left then take immediate right. Race track will be on your left at top of hill.

Re: October 10th Harvest Of Sprint

Take 33 West to Celina Exit at Rt 29. 29 zigs and zags through celina on the north side of the lake. Follow it all the way to 118 south, Make sure you see the sign, It basically is just a OHIO 118 with a arrow. You'll probably overshoot and have to turn around :) 118 will take you smack past the ballroom. Whole trips about 60 miles or so. You could do the 127 south to Northstar way, Theres just a extra zig and zag in there.

Thank you

Reminder.......this event is an open tire rule for all divisions.

Eatin Dirt 10/10/14 1:31 PM

With weather looking pretty doubtful for Brownstown, we will be heading out from Burg area about 3:30. First trip to Waynesfield, looking forward to seeing a some good racing at a track I've not seen before.

WRP DK 10/10/14 1:53 PM

Very glad to see some new faces I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Also I mentioned it is an open tire rule however keep in mind if you win and you do not have a Hoosier tire on the right rear you will not be eligible for the free who's your tire to be given away the Hoosier tire will only be given away to someone running a Hoosier. But let me state this clearly it is an open tire rule

Koonzee 10/10/14 1:53 PM

Just read on FB, Double D headed for Waynesfield in the Walker car. : )

dirt_trackgurl006 10/10/14 2:31 PM

This crew just got to the track!! I am excited because this will be my first time here at this track. I hope to meet more IOW members as well as seeing everyone again! Good luck to all the drivers, car owners, and the crews tonight!!
