Just wanted to let everyone know that while your in town and need something do not hesitate to ask, if we can help we will.

While your here make sure you stop in at the Halfmoon Resturant & Brewery located on 931 (old us 31) just south of Lowes, there is plenty of room for parking.

If you need an oil change or car wash stop in Colescotts Mobile one located just off of 931 (old us 31) to the East of Halfmoon on Center road. ( Speedway I.H.O.P. intersection. one block East)

Woodys conv. stores have Ice the best cokes in town and cigs. they are just a couple blocks away on North and Phillips street, West on Morgan, ( Barkers B.&K.) south on Phillips (tees into Morgan) down two blocks on the corner.

Krogers / K/Mart / Hospital / fast food and Woddys west, Morgan to Phillips to Sycamore / 22 go west at the light and anything you want or need is within a couple blocks.

Dry cleaning can be done on Sycamore / 22 just west of Phillips 2 blocks at Carries Cleaners, next day service is availible.

Halfmoon / Colescotts/ Carries /and a host of other people keep Spencer Racing on track so you trading there helps us keep going. Thank you in advance.

Please stop by the trailer and pick up a 2014 Josh Spencer tee shirt as always only $15 dollars we have grey, Black and white, we can't afford a trailer to set up on the midway so we will do it old school and sell right from the rig. :)

As always Downtown Kokomo has a ton of stuff to offer as does the city parks in and around Kokomo so hop in the car and go see what Kokomo is made up of, when you shop please tell them you are there because of the Kokomo Speedway as it is very important that they know you are trading because of the Speedway. ( this add was not paid for in any way, hell I can't even get my kid on the city)

A ton of rain overnight with rain as I type. If you planned on being here I would stick with the plans I have seen this before and Reece pulled off the best nights of racing in history.

If we do get rained out today we just move things up a day not much we can do with the weather, I would suggest maybe a meeting at Halfmoon if it does rainout this afternoon Josh and the rest of the team could meet everybody there around 5.

I am going for a ride to clear my head will update in a few hours, yes I ride in the rain. :)

Great idea, Jerry. Meeting at the Half Moon helps your sponsor and gives us out-of-towners a place to meet and eat in the unlikely event the race gets rained out tonight. Every so often someone proposes an IOW meet & greet, this could be the Smackdown IOW meet, greet & eat. I'll be there.

We are Half Moon bound right now.

Ok 1:30 and it is grey with a very slight mist here at the house not even enough to wet the pavement, we have a lot of water standing and mud everywhere.

I took the trailer out on Sarahs lunch (half hour) and left it anybody that knows me knows if I did not think we would get this in I would have held up, tore the yard up as the water is standing and the yard is very soft.

I am heading to the track now hoping we get this thing in, I will update in a couple hours.

As I said before load the car and head this way to see the best Sprint Car drivers on the Best track in the land.

If it does get put off untill Friday lets meet up at the Halfmoon around five for a I.O.W. get together, Be safe and come on out.

Wanted to ad that the parking lot does not look that bad at the track the campgrounds still has some room left but people are still pulling in so get here and get set up for three days of fun.

Well I can say this for the Kokomo Speedway and U.S.A.C. one hell of a try you guys did a great job of keeping the track in good shape with more than one lane to race on and moved the program along the best you could. A ton of people came to the trailer and bought shirts ( we still need to move them as the loan comes due shortly) people handing Josh money and offering help for the 2015 season just blows me away.

Not sure why Josh was not included in some of the stuff going on this week but as we told people we have no control over that, Kokomo is home to us wether we do anything to promote or not.

The fans are unbelievable as even with the rain heading in we had a great time visiting and meeting new people, the other teams will always be family to us and getting together even for a rinout is a ton of fun.

Scott Benic what can I say one of the best wrenches in the states with the All Stars and takes the time to stop in and drink a beer with us, we all missed having you around and cherish the time we get to spend with you as well as the other teams that we have raced with for years.

A lot of people thanked me for being honest about my post with the weather ( all but Cripe and he hates my weather forcast :) I told a guy tonight that we were sitting in the parking lot at a race track with the wipers losing a battle with the rain when the nice lady at the desk fifty feet away told us there had been no rain and the races were still on, we hung up turned around and went home knowing it was a rain out witch it turned out to be, if it is raining and like today we had a ton of rain over night I will never tell you the rosy story some want to hear.

Friday is going to be a long day for some and I hope we can get it in, during the day go downtown and look around there is a ton of stuff to do, go to Halfmoon and get full of the best food in Kokomo come back to the track and thank the staff at the Kokomo Speedway for all the hard work they put into trying to get tonight in, make a new friend and enjoy the rest of the Smackdown but whatever you do don't stay home because it might rain, the people that took the chance tonight seen some great racing and seen how hard the staff worked to get it in. A dollar says they try just as hard Friday and Saturday to give you your money's worth.

The rain has let up a little and it is time for another warm one so until daylight sleep well and I will let you know what the sky is doing in the morning.

Close to two inches of rain since we left the track, light rain as of 2:23 The good thing is if anybody can pull this off The Staff AT The Kokomo Speedway CAN DO IT, you are in the perfect place at the perfect time.

See you in a few hours, Adam 12 Dragnet, Thriller, Perry Mason and Mr.Hitchcock then a nap, channel 510 Me TV. if you have Comcast.

Since Josh works for Bud. in the Don't Drink and Drive Program it is only fair to mention that there will be check points Friday night so please don't drink and drive.

Well with rain most of the night stopping just about an hour ago not sure what things look like out at the track, if you remember the track was under water yesterday and the crew at the Speedway had a very nice race track up until the time the storms came in, with that being said if it can be pulled off the O'connors can get it done.

Today would be a good time to go downtown or to the Automotive museum, or the Haynes Museum at Highland park and of course Halfmoon opens everyday at 11:00am

If you are here have fun if you plan on heading this way do it and enjoy a night of racing, meeting new friends and supporting the drivers.

I can say that sprint Car fans and especially Josh Spencer fans are the best in the world, you people that support our son make even a tough night as ok as ok can be. The crowd all day long talking with the crew and telling Josh to hang in there things will work out made last night a little better and today a great day even running in the back of the feature.

All the people that went to Halfmoon because Chris supports Spencer racing is unbelievable, Josh gets you there and the food keeps you comming back, again from all of us at the 66j Spencer Racing thank you so much.

The crews are like family to us and these multi day shows gives us a chance to really get to know each other a little better, way to many to mention but if you were in the pits this week you are consider family to us.

From the time you sign in with Jill and her geniune smile to the brothers that see to it that the track is as good or better than any track in the U.S. ( J.M.O.) you know things are going to run as smooth as possible, how many people thanked them for pulling of something that some tracks may have thrown the towel in on ? every time I seen them I said how proud I was of the whole family maybe Sunday if you get the chance tell them Thank You for all there hard work.

Sunday gates open at Two with drivers on the track at four I can almost assure you that you will more than likely be on the road before dark unless something out of control happens, plese stop in and get a shirt tell Josh what you think (good or bad) tell the O'Connors thank you and then have a great time, be careful going home then come back as often as possible.

To all the people that went to our other sponsors for Ice, gas or whatever you needed then told them you were there for Josh or the Kokomo Speedway you have helped to grow this deal as they enjoy the trading that you do while in town, we stopped at Woodys to get Lotto and four out of six cars at the pumps had Sprint Car decals on, THANK YOU.

U.S.A.C I know we are not one of your regulars but you have treated Josh, our family, sponsors and the fans with great respect, again THANK YOU.

Brian Cripe you are right and I was wrong Friday but you have to admit I hit it on the head today.

Chris at Halfmoon you are ate up with the love for Sprint Cars like no other, you want to do well as bad as Josh does but you also understand that it takes a little bit to get were we need to be your support yet lack of pressure put on Josh is unbelievable, I know you talk to Butler and a host of other drivers that have made it to the top, standing next to josh will pay off I promise. The cool thing is people say they go to Halfmoon because you help Josh little do they know how good our friendship has grown in such a short time. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

I just rode out to see if any of the teams that are here needed anything, the track has some water but to be honest it looks better than it did a couple nights ago.

The O'Connors have busted there butts to get this deal in today so why not reward them by stopping in to see the last night of the Smackdown, there is no way unless another monsoon shows up that we will not be racing tonight.

The sun is out and it is hot Kokomo Speedway is racing tonight.

One last thank you for the day, the group from Michigan that handed Josh a fist full of money, we thank you and appreciate it very much, you made buing pit passes much easier.

Spencer Racing will use part of our winnings to make a donation to the Kokomo Urban Outreach to help feed kids that would not be able to eat without help from alot of volunteers.

Gates open at 2:00 drivers take the track at 4:00 and unless something out of the ordinary happens you will be home at very decent hour. Sunday night shows start at seven and done by 8:30/9:00so starting at 4:00 should have you heading home early.

When it started raining Saturday we decided to go eat til we got a definitive answer. So I decided half moon was the choice. Good food definitely will go back.
