I guess I'll go to church and pray for good weather before I start the 3 1/2 hour drive to the track.

Approaching 9AM here 15 minutes from the track and it is cloudy but dry. Hoping we get a repeat of Kokomo Sat. night weather.

Not raining here but you could cut the air with a knife......downright muggy out there.

Noon update from same location. Sun is shining with the 3 Hs (Hazy, Hot and Humid). Phil is absolutely correct. I probably sweated 10 pounds off cutting grass earlier but I'm not complaining.

Good strategy Gregg, sweat off some pounds and make room for beer later. :)

Not sure what to think here at 1:00 p.m. 1.3 miles from The 'Burg. Clouds have gone from scattered fluffy white to heavy and somewhat ominously dark. 91 degrees and NO RAIN (as yet). Hoping all my weather sources (NOAH, local TV, the Weather Channel, and MSN) are wrong with their 70% severe storm predictions. :11:

I hate when the weather conditions are like this. I have a nearly four hour drive, and the prediction is for severe storms to hit about the time I would arrive. May sit this one out!

Headed to the track rain or shine....hoping for the best, brought plenty of clothes in case it goes to tomorrow....

Intellicast shows 50% at race time.Id rather drive to a rain out than sit on the couch,especially with the quality of the last two shows.Great racing and condiments to.WOW

Cloud cover and breeze have made it more comfortable.

2:15 - Has been raining here for about 15 minutes. Looks to be one of those pop up, just passing through, showers, although it hasn't stopped just yet. Will do another report about 3:00 and then I'm going on over.

2:30 - Rain has stopped......sun shining brightly.

Car blew up on the way there, Just got it back from ignition issues yesterday. No racing for me, No car and probably a lawsuit I'll have to file.

Rest of you have fun, Only thing I can think of is they broke the oil sending unit or something, wasn't a damn thing wrong with the motor.

Reds vs. Pirates 30 miles upriver in rain delay.....beautiful here in The 'Burg though. I'm no metero.......meator......hell, I can't even spell it so you know I'm not going to make any weather predictions. And with that........I must be off......:23:

Looks like its raining there again with more building behind it. Any updates from the track?

I live less than 3 miles from the track and haven't had a drop of rain today.

No rain at the moment. Just south of the track is ugly looking and just north are patches of blue sky!

Looking at weatherbug, looks like "R" word has past the burg, all clear behind it, so I think we've dodged the bullet. Looks like we can race tonite.

At 4:10 they said the show is still on, but some rain just popped up in Milan and there's some heavier showers in Columbus.

5 miles from the track and we have encountered heavy rain.

As of right now its sunny, light breeze an very warm...gates have been open for awhile...bring on the racin!!! :-)

Radar shows a line north and a line south. both moving east-west. one from milan to st leon and the other across hebron KY.

Can't tell you how many nights I watched a whole night of racing and seen lightning both north and south and never got hit Theres a huge bend in the river in Aurora seems to split the weather.

On the other-hand if it drops through, It depends on how long and how much as always.

From what I see, You might get a little side swipe, nothing severe and quickly moving. Id say GO!

I'm sure he's there! He's been on fire so far this ISW and The Burg and him get along real well! Wouldn't be surprised if he parks it tonight.
