Sprint Week Benefit
 

This will be benefit that will be taking place at tristate speedway on July 19. This will be a benefit for there concession stand manger for the last 14yrs. Her name is Sheila Manuel. She has been diagnosed with terminal bone cancer. If you sit on the back side of the track she has been the one with a big smile taking your $$$. The benefit is going to be a cornhole tournament, small raffle, and world famous speedway food. Registration for cornhole will begin at 10am-11:45am. Tournament will begin at 12:00pm and will be open to the first 40 teams. We will have a cash prize for the first and second place teams.Cost is $20 per team. I have collected a few shirts from some drivers and for that I say THANK YOU!! I would like to get some more for the raffle. If any driver would like to help please let me know. I will be at lps and clay county this week and all but gas city on sprint week. My name is Brian Gries and I will be in the pits after each race with my family on our dark gray golf cart ( usually near the Chase Stockon trailer).You can also reach me by email abracing92@yahoo.com or by phone at 812 431 4579. Every one of us is touched by someone who has cancer or has had cancer and has beaten it. Let's all come out and support Brian and his tournament. The racing community is a family and we should support our family. :8:

If you can get it to me I am coordinating sending some stuff that way. Since I work there we want to help with their benefit for Sheila. If you have a donation and can't get it to the track you can get it to me and I will coordinate getting it to TSS - if I need to meet you in the grandstands or parking lot no big deal - text/call me 317-987-4277

I've been teasing Sheila for years that I thought I was her only boyfriend but whenever I see her at the track she's always hugging every guy around. She is and always has been a great joy to see at the track with her big smile and wonderful attitude. She broke her arm at her real job earlier this year and that was when they discovered the cancer. Let's make this a great night for her as I know of no one more deserving or who will be more appreciative of the showing of love and concern for her. Any money raised will be great but this girl thrives as a "Lovebug."

I collected several nice gifts from fans and drivers this past weekend. For that I say thank you!!! We will have a few more from sprint week. What we really need is 40 corn hole teams and anyone who can make it down to have lunch at the track and in enjoy the day. Thanks again.

Yeah, they don't have a better employee than Sheila. Not only is she smiling all the time, she's quite a character, too. I can't remember a time that I bought something from the concession stand that she didn't say something funny, that made me laugh, as I was paying for my food or walking away. And she never runs out of material. I can't be there Saturday early, but I'll either find you Brian or Sacha at Kokomo. I don't want to miss out on donating to this cause.

Dropped some stuff off at the track today!!! Silent auction is looking great!!! Hope to see and meet many of you this week. Don't forget to show up early at tss and enjoy the day for a great cause. Thanks again Brian Gries

Just saw some of the prizes on facebook that will be raffled off and they are very nice.please come out early and buy same raffle tickets,get in the corn hole tournament or just get some good food!!!
