Silver Crown question
 

I made a list of the Silver Crown cars that have not competed this season and i'm curious if anyone knows of anyone knows of any other owners.

Gene Nolen
Terry Riggs
Ted Finkenbinder
Eric Barnhill
Kellen Conover
Terry Jacobs
Robert Galas
Danny Long
Ricky Nix
Sharon Bank
Tad Roach

Some of these i know the status on, but i'd like to know who has cars that i have missed.
What do you guys know of?

I thought the RW car has competed....might be wrong.. ...Lloyd

They have 2 dirt cars sitting I believe. I am trying to help with whatever I can in getting cars back to the track and get new ones interested.

USAC is missing the boat, they should hire you you are the best PR man the Champ Cars have had in a long time

Bettenhausen100 was my 1st SC race last yr. I'm curious , how much did that race pay to win ?

The winners share of the purse was $10,000.00. Someone please set the record straight if I'm in error but I would assume that figure would not include contingency payouts.

RW Motorsports has fielded cars all year. Chris Windom on dirt and pavement and they ran Kyle O'Gara at LORP (IRP)

Sharon Bank is considering getting the dirt car out. I spoke to her at the Indy Vintage days at IMS

Ricky Nix stuff is for sale

Spoke to Mrs Capie last fall - cars for sale.

Spoke to Pete W. (Keith Kunz) at 4 Crown. Its sitting in the corner. Heard a RUMOR they might get it out. But its a rumor no idea if its true

I know they ran the 2 pavement cars and the 1 dirt, but that still leaves 2 dirt cars and 1 pavement car sitting. I know it might not be feasible to run all the cars this year, but I would love to see them either ran or sold. There aren't very many cars left for sale and teams are still looking.

After the end of this season the #16 Lightfoot/Hines cars dirt and pavement are for sale if anyone wants to start a top notch team

how do you know these cars haven't been stripped down and parted out by now?

It is quite possible that some have. That's what I want to know though. There are enough serious people looking for cars and there aren't enough cars left to buy. The ones that don't want to sell, I would like to try and get them back to the racetrack. Tons of great wheelmen and not enough rides.

That 16 car would be a good one for someone. 3 out of 4 poles so far this season.
