Silver Crown at the Brickyard
I thought some of you might enjoy a few photos of the Silver Crown #90 during an invitational event at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend. Robin Bank behind the wheel.

Johnny "Hot Rod" Heydenreich was behind the wheel on Sunday for a tour around the historic 2-1/2 mile oval.

Re: Silver Crown at the Brickyard
Cap them off at 160mph, use today's safety standards, there would be 60 of them in the garages trying to make the 500 in May!!!

To Hell with the Speed Cap. Put a big 4 cam motor in um and let them race. Maybe a prelim to the 500? They would be beautiful and scary scary fast.:8::8: Maybe we could find a guy like AJ and he could build an offset solid axle Roadster for racing on the big tracks. Doesn't somebody already do that? Honest Dad himself:6::6: |
Re: Silver Crown at the Brickyard

Here is a great photo of me driving the Red #90 Beast at IMS. Photo by Steve Allen.

160 doesn't touch what they will do at gateway this weekend. I would venture to say if 50k people fill the stands at noon this sat they would consider running them at the speedway.

Was the #90 at LORP? Will it be at Gateway?

Re: Silver Crown at the Brickyard
I can't speak for Sharon who is ultimately in charge of the team but I am hoping we will have the #90 dirt car at some of the remaining dirt mile races. There is also a chance we will be at the final asphalt race at Lucas Oil Raceway Park. All with Johnny driving. He is still recovering from his final surgery but should be ready for those events and hopefully we will have the funding to run them.
