Landon Simon spins on lap 9. Max McGhee had a pretty good lead on the field. Mattox second, Courtney third, Parker and Bilbee top five

McGhee faded on the last restart, Courtney took the lead, And slipped off the turn four bank losing the lead to Mattox. Mattox won, Courtney second, Bilbee was third.

Mattox ever win before?

Mattox has won a few features at clay county.

Probably his biggest win glad to see him get it on the front stretch. Maybe that will help boost his T-shirt sales.

He usually makes a pretty good deal on trades for little things with no real value. I think he just likes to make people smile.

On a serious note the guy is on a very limited budget and has to be at work in the morning. Go but a shirt from him and make sure he can get to the track the next week. Good guy to talk to also if you get the chance.

Glad to see my buddy Bradon get the win tonight. Ran 2nd to sunshine on Friday so it was good to get him tonight.

Yes he sells shirts. Normally has them hanging off his trailer. I was representing my shirt tonight.

Very competitive track it held good.
Car counts dont always mean tite close racing. Good show. Hope they do some of Kokomo's closed Sunday dates.

We are just going to have to work on your picks for sports teams.

It was a great show. Some fun racing all night long. That sprint feature was fun filled. 2-3 wide racing, multiple grooves, sliders, and more. Look forward to more non-winged races at VCS.

I believe that was the Hurst car if I'm not mistaken.
