Just my opinion but Nascar is responsible for letting Goodyear peddal this crap and endangering drivers.
Go back to Bias! and quit playing games by trying to make more pit stops so you can make more advertising money. |
Re: Driver wanted !
Sorry fellow IOW's this is not going to get any better in nascrap land until the poster boy from the sperm club donor card is out of there, because his dad is not around to kick him in the azz and straighten things out.

Re: Driver wanted !
NASCAR should end Goodyear's monopoly and let other tire companies in. A little competition might make for safer (and better) racing.

Re: Driver wanted !
It sure is going to be interesting. Goodyear thought they got thrown under the bus earlier in the year...Naaa Tony and about 12 others must just been flat wrong about the tires they run on. The funny thing is Goodyear has had a lot of time to reconsider things since then.

Re: Driver wanted !
Correct me if I heard this wrong cause I wasn't paying much attention but on NASCAR Raceday I believe I heard Kenny Wallace say that the tire issue today is NOT GOODYEAR'S FAULT??????:kookoo:confused::confused::kookoo:conf used::headbang:doh::confused:
Did I hear him wrong? |
Re: Driver wanted !
When you're trying to tiptoe 3500 lbs through a flat corner, you better bring a tire that resembles house brick....but then we would hear them complaining about that. I just find it hard to understand why a series as big as NASCAR is, doesn't do their OWN tire testing, & then go to the manufacturer(s) with the specs.

I just thought about my comments eariler and I do have a question.
Its NASCAR that tells Goodyear what tire to bring to the race track isn't it? So is NASCAR to blame, or Goodyear, or both? |

I kinda feel sorry for the third guy there on the set. Just my opinion, but anyone who enjoys that combo is far more starved for NASCAR coverage than am I. |

Goodyear has "NEW" tire ready for 2009 Brickyard 400
