No Way Out 40 Change

For immediate release. Race officials have decided it is in the best interest to move Saturday's No Way Out 40 to Sunday with the weather forcast as it is. Gates will open at 1pm draw will end at 3:30pm hot laps at 4pm. All times are EST. Our goal is to have the sprint feature over by dark. There will be no stops in the action. We will keep this show rolling. Thank you for your understanding.

Outstanding call, thank you for being proactive on this and also for insurances of a tightly run program. I have a 10 hr RT and would not have made it if it were not for what you have stated.

I will be there - Lets do this thing!

Modifieds and King of the TQs are still on the program.

Well just when I'd decided Im not going with a high of 43 Saturday and pesky hang around showers after a possible inch tonight. THEY CHANGE IT SO I CAN GO!

This needs to be supported by all who can make it. Unsanctioned good purses are hard to come by and Rescheduled races, expecially on non normal track days is taking a big risk.

See you Sunday!
Chuck, Also stopping by the Burg for the first hour or so as they practice Noon till 5

How much seating is there at Brownstown? If I leave right after church Sunday I should arrive just before hot laps. Will there still be good seats left?

Last week for the Lucas oil late models it was standing room only by hot laps. But I don't think it will be quite that bad this week. They have plenty of seating.

Plenty of seating, don't worry about that

Thank you for everyone's support. We cannot stress start times enough. Drivers must be signed in by 3:30pm.

A big THANK YOU goes out to the race officials!! I was going to pick up the camper after work to get it ready for the race weekend. With this early news, it will save me a lot of time and headache!! We will still be there, just without the camper. I know a call this early is sometimes tough but it is greatly appreciated and Im sure we are not the only ones that feel that way!

It is actually EDT (Eastern Daylight Time). Don't know why people in Indiana have so much trouble correctly stating the time zone they are in. There are two zones: CDT (Central Daylight Time) and the previously mentioned EDT. In the winter months, we have CST and EST, or Central Standard and Eastern Standard respectively. I remember years ago when Salem Speedway advertised that the races were run on Louisville time. Talk about confusion!

Thanks for making the move to sunday and i hope that the move will show that you will have a show that us race fans will say that was the best non wing race of 2014. Thanks.

Rains moving out, Got a lot of it but 24hrs of drying time before hot laps should be sufficient.

Can't wait, Upper fiftys and sun I'll be there especially since the forecast from tuesday on doesn't look good with tons of rain forecast.

Can't wait, I'll be covering the race for the beginning of my racing section at my newspaper, The Brazil Times. Sorry for the plug, but dang it's been such a long, cold winter. Finally racing is here folks!!!
