Dave Darland. DAYTONA in Feb.?
 

I would like to know how many people would be willing to donate at least $10 or more to Dave Darland so that he can race in the ARCA race at Daytona in Feb. This race will be televised live also. This is not a scam. Our plans is to have Dave in Daytona in Dec. to test so he will be able to race in Feb. If everyone that wants to and can chip in we can make this happen. For now just let us know how many would be willing to help out, we are working very hard to make this happen.

As long as I see something from Dave, Brenda, Susan, etc. saying this is legit, I would jump at the chance to contribute to this cause. I bet a lot of others would, too.

Jerry, this is legit. Look for something real soon on Dave's FB page. We just don't have much time. The test is Dec. 20th. We don't have time to get the car ready for the test so we are planning on testing him in someone else's car. The money will go straight to Dave not me or anyone else. If we get enough responses then I will let Dave tell you how to get it to him.

When Dave gets back from out west we will decide how he wants to set this up and where to start sending it to him. Remember the small amount that we are trying to get per person means that we have to try to get everybody on board. It still takes alot of funds to do this so it takes alot of donors. I am working very hard to make this a reality for Dave.

Who ever is setting this up you might consider something like a kickstarter campaign where you offer incentives for certain dollar amounts. For example $10 for an autographed hero card, $30-$40 gets you an autographed shirt or a hat or something like that. Just thinking out loud.

I would rather put my money on a Du quoin Race and in a Bill Kimmel Jr. prepared race car. Dave shines on that big old dirt track and Jr. knows how to make em go around that place. Just another 1000 pounds or so to sling around.

What does a good ARCA rental deal cost now?

I have enjoyed watching Dave race for a long time and he has provided us the best in racing entertainment. He has provided us with many great races and exciting wins. Would be a pleasure to assist in something Dave would like to do.

When I saw the title of the post "Dave Darland, Daytona in Feb" I pictured in my mind a metal flake blue car stock car with a sparkle silver 56, red roll cage, taking the checkered flag at Daytona. An Indy car with that paint scheme would look good too!

I know a great crew guy he has run with ARCA.truck.cup.and Rolex I know he is looking for something. A great fab guy knows set ups really well. Let me know I turn him on to you if it works . I put in a few also to see it but should have a nice Indiana open wheel decal someplace dash with camera that can see it that be cool
