Brian,
First of all it is refreshing to see a track seek the opinions of the fans they serve. I totally enjoy the racing at Montpelier. You have started and nurtured the midget program that I really enjoy. The only track offering regular midget racing. As a side note, I have mentioned a number of times the quality of the racing in the modified division. I am not a huge modified fan but Montpelier Speedway seems to be a great track for modifieds to compete. I am already looking forward to 2014 and racing at Montpelier Speedway. Thanks for including us in your plans for next season.:6: |

I guess moving the track would be kinda of hard. BUT,:D If we had a small garage up there with water to wash off the car and a place to park the hauler that was secure we would love to race up there. Mini sprints are low maintenance race cars usually requiring only a quick rinse off to be ready for the next race. We could pull up there park the old gas guzzler hauler, and commute back and forth in the family car. Be fore warned we might have a slightly larger motor in our chain drive midget. First of all Brian, thanks for asking. However, I really can't think of anything I'd like to see changed. The Hunter's and their staff are doing a fantastic job. Please just keep it up.

We ran there several years ago and blew up or something, don't remember what, but I went off and left my transponder behind. Called them up and explained to them what I had done and what it looked like. Well they said that they had wondered what that thing was and bought it to us at the Rumble and delivered it personally. I truly appreciated that. When they were deciding to run a midget mini sprint deal they advertised their Idea in Iow and invited all interested party to a meeting in Indy. They listened to everyone, asked a few pertinent questions. They then went back and drew up what is I feel a very successful set of rules for their class. They have an interest in the success of their track and their division and it "SHINES THROUGH". Keep up the good work!!! Honest Dad himself:6::6: |
