About 25 miles South of Kamp @ the junction of I-74 and IN-63 is where the Beef House is located. It's usually mentioned when people talk about the best steakhouses in Indiana.

The Haub Steak House is a great choice, but if you're on a budget in Haubstadt I would suggest Stoll's Country Inn (Amish buffet) or The Log Inn - it is Indiana's oldest restaurant and has great fried chicken served family style.

Dan is right! Little Zagreb's in Bloomington is the best steak I have EVER had period.

PS, the ladies that serve the food are easy on the eyes, especially in the summer.

Kamp: The Beef Haus is pretty damn good. If you can't get full there, you got a problem. But, you have to save room for at least one of Kamp's massive tenderloins.

Bloomington: Just head to the court square and there are great places to eat all around. Last year I ate at a kick ass Thai place about one block off of court square. And, if you need some good cigars, you can pick them up at Briar and Burley.

Haubstadt: Sandy's Pizza in Fort Branch is real good.

Of course, one of my favorite things about traveling in Indiana and Ohio in the summer is all of the small town dairies. They usually have some good food and super ice cream. That's something you don't find in the south. Everything is a fast food chain now. The family owned dairy/hot dog stand/burger joint is almost a thing of the past.

Nick's is always a must in Bloomington. Best pizza imo. It's on Kirkwood towards campus.
