Wasnt it a usac/mscs show last year.and years past...if sooo now its usac vs mscs.....mscs is running at tri state...against the burg....

Dave Rudisell 9/20/13 4:50 PM

Yes, last year it was, MSCS called me early in the year and said they wouldn't co sanction this event with USAC anymore and their reason was they don't like to co sanction, even though they do it at haubstat multiple times, I told them that was fine, and then they later added a show against us at haubstat. That's when I cancelled any events with the MSCS, end of story.
Good luck to all!

Not trying to hijack but if anyone needs more motivation. Waynesfield is running Sunday. Its two hours north right up I-75. 8 miles east of Wapokoneta OH.
Make for a good Double Header Weekend to end the season at both tracks.

Hey Dave, Johnny still froze to the Grandstands?

Dave Rudisell 9/22/13 7:58 PM

Make sure you stop by souvenir stand and pick up a 4 Abreast For Breast T-Shirt! Last year these shirts were a hit! And a donation to Breast Cancer Awareness was made! See ya all soon!

Looking forward to this race. Had a great time last year, even if I had to wear pink. And that aint easy for a construction guy to pull off. But seeing Chase Stokon get the win was worth it. Spending the day in Madison for the Chataqua Festival, and the night at the track. Win-win.

Re: USAC Sept.28th @ LBurg

Hoping for a repeat for Chase Stockon! He has had some bad luck here lately and I would like to see it turn around. The Ovarian Cancer Awareness car looked good in the winner's circle last year and I'm sure it would look good again this year! Teal goes with pink, right?

nope it thawed out in time to make it to the 4 crowns Charles (i'd'a came over to introduce myself, but I was having a bad day walking, knocking stuff over every time I tried to move) was sitting just off to your right/ great racing despite terrible track prep/ can't wait till sat. hope to see ya there tamati! maybe by next year i'll be get'n around well enough to sit on the civilized side at the burg, I hear sect. A is the bomb!

Very emotional race last year for Chase and family.. would love to see the new Ovarian Cancer car in winners circle. I'm hoping the bad luck would run out soon.

Dave Rudisell 9/23/13 11:33 PM

Weather is looking great for the weekend!

Regarding the new signs that say "No marking off of seats with tape", does this mean it's still OK to mark seats as long as we don't get tape sticky on the seats?

Pit Pass: $30 (all ages)

Entry form says "$30 MEMBERS/$40 NON-MEMBERS". Is that correct?

http://www.usacracing.com/members/ev...f15f85383cb109

R A K 9/24/13 3:54 PM

That is the car entry fee, Sam.
Page 2 of the USAC release explains that a pit pass for members is $30, whereas non-members (signing in under USAC participants) is $35.
Clear as mud, right ...
Therefore, given that you will not be fielding a car, or strapping in said machinery, you will be required to hand over $30 for admission to the pit area. : )

Dave Rudisell 9/24/13 6:48 PM

Now Rudy, please reference page 2 of the Official USAC Entry Form (Section "Pit Credentials"). You shouldn't tamper with their bonus money! HaHa : )

BTW, if someone wins the 50/50 at a USAC show, and is not a USAC member, do they have to give $100 of it to USAC? (Like their payout)
; )

Dave Rudisell 9/25/13 8:16 AM

Only 3 more days!until USAC Sprints hit the track for the last time this year in Indiana!

I just saw that a new and improved Official USAC Entry Form has been posted on their website, reflecting the figures Mr. Rudisell described above, and nullifying the link Honest-Sam had posted.
Looking forward to this event!

Haubstadt paid 10 grand on Apr. 20 for the Outlaws, then again on Sept. 14 for the MSCS / USAC show.

MIKE69 9/26/13 8:16 AM

Kokomo Smackdown paid $10k to win and $1,000 to start if I remember correctly, on Saturday.

Dave Rudisell 9/26/13 6:16 PM

2 more days in case you lost count! Lol

Dave since I am such a big spender I will donate $1 to the purse so you can have the highest paying Sprint Car race in Indiana this year.

Thanks to Shane Mugavin, it's now $10,001 to win!! Indiana's Largest Sprint Payout to win!!
