Plymouth is running 410 Open Winged Sprints. It says 410 or 360, Open Motor Rules, so I figure it will just be one class of Sprints though.

Go to twin cities. Taxi cabs and push em & flip ems. I wish a few other tracks around here would run late models and sprints together through out the season. Should be a good show. Hopefully they run late into the season

$1200 to win? Come on, pay at least 1,500 to win for sprints, if not $2,000!

Throw the $800 then. I'm just happy a new promoter is trying to get sprints on their track.

The Gold Crown midget nationals are at Pontoon Beach (Granite City) Oct. 3 - 5. I'll be there.

It's real easy to spend somebody else's money, isn't it?

The payout is sad and antique. It is at all Indiana tracks. 18 years ago I won a regular show there that paid $1,200 in September 1995. I could live with $1,200 to win if it paid $300 to start.

They ever get their catch fence fixed?

Heard they fixed the fence and grated the track down on the outside of the turns, getting rid of the launch pads. Guess the wall is actually a wall now.

This is the last time I saw sprint cars at North Vernon, T Mez on his way to winning the 2012 No Way Out 40. I hope the action is like that on Saturday. The joint has put on some great sprint car shows over the years.

Stopped by the track this afternoon and it looks pretty good. Hope mother nature co-operates and they have a good field of cars.

You guys are SOOO LUCKY to have to choose where to spend your money. Our season has been over since Labor Day and now I'm stuck spending time at home with my Wife. Man, SHE's mad that the season's over!! :14:

Forecast is not looking good at all. Might still take the chance though. Fremont is 2 hours further North.

Twin Cities text at 10:11 AM indicates they ARE racing. All I know is there is light rain in west central Indiana.

Not being a pessimist here, just a realist. There is no way they're gonna race in north Vernon tonight. It's been raining for 2 hours now in columbus. Only small breaks in the rain...more on the way

Their FB page just said still on. I looked at Radar and it don't look good. But who knows.

Gotta agree that it doesn't look good on radar. I'm in Indy now with intentions of heading to Vernon. Rained on us all the way from Brazil so hoping to hear from the track soon.

Just got a text from Brownstowns service. They said the ILMS race is rescheduled for 10-19. I would take that as its been cancelled.
