Re: Waynesfield Meet The Drivers
So far in 2013 we have AVERAGED over 35 cars a week in the non wing class even when there are other big non wing shows in the area. You will not be disappointed in this show.
|
Weekly car count averages:
Non Wing: 34 Modified: 29 Mini Sprint: 23 Trucks: 19 As you can see we get great support from our racers. These car counts hold true even if we are up against another big race elsewhere. Thank you drivers!!!!! Posted via Mobile Device |
I know you say thank you to drivers but I got Say thank you Waynesfield Raceway Park For having a great track and great staff. So Thank you for being a track I don't mind racing at. Also I will be there for meet the drivers night.

Re: Waynesfield Meet The Drivers
Well thank you hoscalecody. We know we don't have all the fancy things some tracks with big backing have but we do know that we have the best fans and racers that any track could ever ask for. We do provide a safe place to race with a fire crew that has all the essential equipment needed to perform a quick rescue (jaws, sked unit, full gear). We also have a great flagging crew, pit steward staff, ticket office, concession crew, announcer and scoring staff. This is the time of the year when some people are ready for the season to wind don but we on the other hand are sad that it is quickly coming to a close. We miss our racing family through the winter months.
But hey let's put all that talk aside because we have three more regular scheduled shows left and possibly a nice show to come in September that you won't want to miss. Again we aren't flashy but we provide great entertainment at a very low cost. Thank you to all. |
Re: Waynesfield Meet The Drivers
SOOOOOOOOooooo, We will see suites next spring :5::5:. Couldn't someone run it through September ?

The "meet the drivers" session of the program will take place right after hotlaps and just before the National Anthem. Also the sprints will be the first class that runs for the evening.

Re: Waynesfield Meet The Drivers
Denny....we have not set the 3rd class as final yet but the rest of what you said is correct. Sept 29th with an earlier start time and three classes.
Now......today is raceday and as our announcer would say......."Let's get it on". Don't miss out as there will be plenty of give away's for kids and adults tonight. All WRP merchandise is being sold at reduced prices tonight and there are concession stand specials. You want to see over 30 Non wing sprinters do battle for only $12 then tonight WRP is the place to be!! Don't forget to buy your child a kids club packet at the ticket window for chances to win bikes, skates, pogo sticks, shirts, chance to go to victory lane and much much more. |

I would not bet against him on September 29th. Dallas could take a double victory in both the 410 sprints and 360 winged sprints! |
What's this deal with sept. 29? Kinda find any info about a race..

Re: Waynesfield Meet The Drivers
Details still forthcoming. I know that they are talking Sun. Sept. 29, Heard Non Wing, Winged 360's & Mini Sprints. But as you can see above the 3rd division has not been confirmed. Hammons is putting the show on.
