Weather in Lawrenceburg?

With Waynesfield cancelled, I'm thinking about coming down. But don't want to make the 3.5 hour drive (7 hours round trip) to get rained on. Any Lawrenceburg insights?

It is partly cloudy just East of the Burg. It looks like it will improve as the day goes on. The only weather I see on the radar in in Carrolton South of us so it looks like we are good to go.

And Dave Says Yes, we are racing.

i'm 15 mins east n its partly cloudy but hasn't rained since earlier this a m, so far so good/ skies are blue now! might be a bit nipley for a beach party tonite though? took me 2 and a half hours to go 2 frig'n miles. indiana needs to learn how to deal with highway construction/ took me 3 HOURS TO MAKE MY NORMAL 15 MINUTE TRIP TO THE TRACK! missed the bikini stuff and the 1st 3 sprint heat races , after finally getting off the frig'n freeway and pointing the silver bullet in the direction of the burg and miraculously finding it using back roads somehow! the tack was dusty AS HELL all through the heats n sprint b/ but was watered then and was good for the feaches. racing was awesome as usual though!

Re: Weather in Lawrenceburg?

I walked in just after five and honestly he'd just put more water on the track and IMHO I thought it might be a bit too wet. They hotlaped and the track was fine. They wheel packed and then did the Bikini Contest (Right Gal won BTW) Little Blue pills were going for a hundred each in Section A.

When they started the first sprint heat it was dusty. I don't Know if the top of the track just baked but after about half way in the second heat it blew off and wasn't too bad for the rest of the heats.

What can I say, Leary is on a Tear, That young man grabbed the lead from fourth on the first lap and never looked back. Theres no doubt if he feels comfy in the car he'll put the hammer down, I Kinda wondered what the edge was till I seen Cripe in Victory Lane with him.

Stockon finally wrestled second from Ted *The Animal* Hines. He don't give anything easy at the Burg, and those two swapped second a dozen times during the race!. Grant wheeled the 21x home in fourth with a strong run. Race went green to checkered.

I picked Knicely to win the Mod race but it wasn't too be. Kramer found a line that while he couldn't get away, They weren't gaining on him either. At one point Knicely got by Schrader but Schrader got him back on a restart.

Street Stocks were a battle of attriction but always great racing and fun to watch.

Didnt catch the Hornets, Can't hold it that long.

I had a great nite, Had one complaint but that will be delt with through PM and it isn't out of disrespect, However it is a but a repeating problem.

johnnythunderhead 7/28/13 9:20 PM

I got there for the 4th sprint heat and turn 2 and the entire backstretch were in dire need of water (it was like they'd watered the front stretch and turns 1 and 4 and had neglected the entire back side? come on prep guys ya need to respect us backsiders too! otherwise i'm gonna start sittin on the civilized side) was good racing as always though and was a lot better after the water put down before the feach.
