paragon

it looks like both paragon and putnamville are running tonight. With the Amati race at Paragon, does anyone know who's headed where? Trying to make my decision on car count and where some of the top teams will be.

You don't want to miss the Chuck Amati race. The first three have been absolutely incredible. I'm sure this year will be no different.:44:

Here is a word of advice. Quit trying to guess where the best show will be by the car count. I can personally say that bigger shows with higher car counts don't always provide the best racing. I have seen shows with less than 20 sprint cars provide top quality entertainment. I have also been to the big shows with over 35 cars that weren't the best. Just be thankful that you have a choice. Many folks envy us Hoosiers because we do have to chose. Pick one of these and just "do it".

stealth43k 7/6/13 2:22 PM

I am at paragon because of the oddity of a 68 lap sprint car race just something different

Re: paragon vs. putnamville

Putnamville rained out. That should make your decision easier. And with Lawrenceburg also rained out expect a star studded field tonight.:44:

amandasparks11 7/6/13 2:52 PM

Well considering putnamville just cancelled... I'd say paragon!

There's a bunch of campers here already. They allow campers, they just don't like it when people try to park them next to the fence and watch the races for free.

Just got here. It's overcast but looks like the rain will stay away. The pits are packed!! Not sure how many sprints...a lot though! Should be a good night.

Let me edit this...lots of sprints. Only 4 push trucks. Uummmm....

Kicking myself in the butt. Didn't want to make the drive over from Aurora and have it rain. Hope you all see a great show. Updates would be great. Thanks in advance.

I will post VERY LIMITED updates....probably winners only. If some one else wants to post more details, I will gladly defer to them.

Only so many can run that show. You have to of had like 2 races already at the track this year to be able to race this show at Paragon, from what I understand. But stands should be full.

SP Motorsports 7/6/13 7:18 PM

Hot laps complete. Interesting. They squeezed them all into 3 groups. Many had a hard time finding open room.

The last hot lap session had 21a cars....
