Smooth, heavy, and fast, so we can get some times in the 12s. Wish I could be there as a driver, but may just have to come watch this one.

I am waiting as long as I can before leaving. That big green blob on the radar can't make its' mind up where it is going. I have two rain checks and a friend is riding shotgun, but we don't want to drive six hours for nothing. What to do, what to do????:11:

stay home/ (usac n lps) are too quick to toss in the towel, if there's even a chance of rain I avoid that place/ and they're the only track I've ever encountered that do not refund $$$ to out of towners

I am using a raincheck from a LPS USAC show for tonight. I think that is fair. They tried very hard to get in the show that night.

Raining in Indy now! What is it like in Putnamville? What no fireworks???? And $25.00 for the stands???? Wow that made up my mind! I'll try going to Brownsburg for fireworks at the park and the carnival!

The majority is east of I-65 and seems staying that way. If they bust this show off, No downtime, Put the wreckers in the infield near the light poles and rolling once yellow speed established. Im thinking they will probably get it in Possibly early enough to set off the fireworks just after dark.

Fireworks should never stop a event when weather is threatening, Its a race track first.

who refunds your money in the case of a rainout you ask:
Eldora, lernerville, Williams grove, k c, just to name a few (Eldora and lernerville exchanged the rain check for cash at the ticket window, while the others had you send the rain check with a sase and they sent me a check) i'm certain there are others that aren't coming to mind. although in most cases, i normally use the rain checks with tracks which are closer to home, which i'm sure exchange the rain checks for cash too, for those who are a long way from home) at any rate, as i stated l p s is the only track that refused to refund my $ in the case of a rain out (and i have been rained out many'a time in the 50 ott years I've been chasin racin.

the way I see it, every time you go to lps you're gambling that you might give them your money and then get absolutely nothing at all in return!

and ya know, there are some mean spirited people on this forum from time to time/ but I refuse to be bullied, I love sprint car racing and i will express my opinions.

i do hope they are able to get the show in and i wish i were there/ i'm just not willing and able to gamble against the odds. hopefully this weather will settle down and i'll be there for issw.

Its gone on long enough and you don't have to like it but people agreed to forum rules and No personal attacks is one of them.

Its the biggest reason given to me as to why ten times more read than ever post here.

Johnny loves racing, He's got health issues and still gets to a lot of races. Like me, I've been bit by the 3+ hour drive more than once this year to have no refund at the gate (I understand its track policy) and the main It is a consideration I take before doing so. Its small potato's usually whin counted against the gas to get there and other expenses.

John, When being constructively critical. I've found its aways best to include the positives. (And its still not dusty in the main grandstand at the burg) LOL
