Sign on to Dirtvision.com the A main will be up as soon as the thunder cars finish. Not sure why they need a support class there. Running a little late after 2 fence repairs.

I always used to listen to DirtVision in the past, but for some reason it isn't working on my phone the past few times. I have a Droid 4.

Tim Kaeding wins.

Fantastic race tonight with Tim Kaeding winning with second going to Shane Stewart who made a bid to win at the flag, but came up about a half a car short.
Shane Stewart, Kyle Larson and Tim Kaeding put on one heck of a show with Larson and Kaeding swapping leads several times before Larson settled in with a few car lengths lead.
It looked like he was on his way to the win riding the rim when coming out of turn 2 with 8 laps to go the #6 car started down the track and Larson had no where to go causing him to spin, but he kept it going and no yellow which may have cost Larson the feature win.
Tony Stewart ran a solid 4th place for much of the feature before fading in the closing laps.
Sammy Swindell missed the race with a sour motor before starting the B-main.
Overall a good nite of racing and thanks to Kokomo Speedway for a great track and all their hard work

Great night at Kokomo. Perfect field of cars, lots of passing all night. Jason Sides took the lead going into turn 1 and almost wrecked coming off of 2. Kyle Larsen is a natural, he came from 9th to 3rd in the dash almost unheard of with the outlaws and was leading the feature when lapped traffic became a problem. Shane Stewart showed he belongs on the WoO tour full time, the guy is really good. Sammy and Steve continued to struggle, it ain't 1985 anymore.

take notice race track owners. the bottom groove (shortest) is completely flat, almost reverse bank. the middle groove is slightly banked and the top (longest) is the highest banked part of the track. this is a very good race track design. if your race track has too many cars running at the bottom flatten it out and add it to the top. the results are happy fans that tell their buddies where to see great races. thank you kokomo, you give all of us hope that racing can be healthy and fun for the future.

This was my first WOO at this track. I heard that this was the 22nd appearance for WOO at Kokomo. Great night for racing, large turnout of cars and a competive feature race. With the addition of Tony Stewart and Kyle Larson to the regulars, it made for an enjoyable evening. As my son picked Larson for the win, I picked Keading and won the bet. Now I can go back next year.

Awesome show put on by the World of Outlaws last night. They had some excellent racing throughout the program with some very high quality competition. Crowd was really good for a mid-week event. Larson put on a show in every race he was in, especially the dash. Bad luck when lapping Bill Rose took away a great chance to win, but Kaeding and Shane Stewart had reeled him in so he definitely wasn't a lock for the win. Great race by Kaeding and Stewart, who were both strong all night. A-hole move of the night goes to a charter member of the A-hole hall of fame - Sammy Swindell. Brandon Wimmer beats him for the last transfer spot in the first heat, so Sammy spins him into the wall in turn 2 after the finish. Wimmer had to go to a backup car and start at the tail of the feature. Karma came back to bite Sammy though as he pulled off before the start of the last chance race and had no provisionals to use to get in the show. Few were sympathetic. Job well done by the Outlaws, SLS promotions, and the staff of Kokomo Speedway.

There has to be a non-wing diehard that thought last night's race was boring and follow the leader. Come on we wanna hear from you.

TqMidget41&84 6/6/13 2:00 PM

One of the best wing shows I've ever seen. Hats off to the track crew for fixing the fence not once, but twice in a timely fashion! I will definitely be going back.

I would love to see or hear of someone smashing his face after a move like what you explained here.....He is the grand champion member of the A-hole hall of fame in my opinion... I don't like his kid either! I wish they would take each other out at the chili bowl next year.

What I saw was right as he was running into him, so I didn't catch what led to it. Maybe someone can post a video. I certainly could be wrong, but it looked intentional. Johnny Gibson explained what he saw as it happened and said it was not a very professional move.

Johnny apologized this morning on his site for what he said, you may be right as the only one that really knows is Brandon and Sammy.

Brandon posted on Twitter last night that his car broke and took him into Sammy.

Johnny also apoligized last night after finding out that Wimmer had actually broke. JG is one of the best in the business and calls it like he sees it and is man enough to apoligize when wrong. Nothing wrong with that.

hoosier race fan 6/6/13 4:43 PM

My bad then. Went off of what I saw and what Johnny said. I guess that's what I get for not following social media or going to the pits to ask what happened myself. Johnny is indeed one of the best ever, and a good guy. Apologies to Sammy. I'll take my place in that a-hole hall of fame too.

I was looking right at Wimmer when he wrecked, it looked like something broke and he turned straight right. It was close but I don't think Sammy ever touched him

At least the Sammy haters were able to vent whether justified or not.

You don't need to take his place hoosier race fan, he's done enough in the past to deserve to be in that A-hole hall of fame for the rest of his life.
At least in my opinion...

VSneader2 6/7/13 9:38 AM

That race was probably one of the best wing races I have seen in a long time. I loved watching the guys bouce the rr off the turn 2 wall. It did bite a few guys but it was very fun to watch. Wished that wind wouldn't had been so strong. Made it cold sitting up in the stands for the feature.
