Rob... it is what it is. We thank you for the props! We take great pride in keeping the fans who we know cannot be here updated on progress for the evening. This is why it absolutely KILLS me tonight. But as I said... we do as asked.

I am glad John is updating folks tonight. Thanks John for keeping the masses informed!

I really think this stinks. We still LOVE sprint car racing and want to keep up on our old friends that are still racing in Indiana and this is our only way of doing it since we don't live there anymore. I just appreciate any updates we can get.

I agree with you Robb but I can see This being the stand the Tracks take more often they need the fans in the stands to make money not at home on the NET

gas prices....grocery prices...everything prices.....what takes precedent over racing...lots of things unfortunatly....its sad to say but times are tough....thats why my car isnt on the track this year!

While I understand the tracks point, it stinks for those of us who live out of state and this is our only link to sprint car racing anymore. I know from most fans stand point, they would much rather be at the track than to be at home watching a computer screen. So the promoters need to realize that the ones who can go more than likely will and would not stay home because they can get live updates. Nothing is as good as the real thing. I know if we were in still in Indiana we would be at the track!!!!

I feel your pain I am very concerned that if the Gas Prices keep going alot of things will be over for everyone

Re: Haubstadt updates

I understand the tracks position. With that said if a cash paying customer wants to take his or her time and update those of us that are not there, I think they should be allowed to do so.

Educate yourself boys. I do work for an living. In 27 years my insurance has went up 200 % . 150 of that since busch has come in. For the first time in 28 years I am not supporting this sport because of gas prices. This makes me sick. Good to know other people can tell us all how good we have it.

Lets agree to disagree and leave it at that.

All we need to lower gas prices is a President with a pair of b***s. We sell grain at $7 per bushel to the same countries that sell us oil at $136 per barrell. Raise the price of grain to $136 per bushel and see how fast the gas prices come down.

why hasnt anyone got on here an blamed bush for blowing up the levees in southern indiana yet??? didnt he do that too??? he seems to be the lightning rod for everyone to blame their problems on.......i guess that bush has his hand in big insurance along with big oil, big levee explosions....big business and all of the other problems with the country....yeah...he is an idiot....but do you really think he has that much influence over the world? i guess he was responsible of for the reduction of the exxon valdes settlement too huh??

For what its worth the racing is spectacular! Both divisions are putting on a show! Something has happened that adds a twist to the feature.... Maybe john can get a text on what that is when they announce it.

with all the flooding in the midwest i wouldnt be suprised with grain prices that high! and who will suffer...........us.............plain and simple.........look at the prices at the food store! everyone eats grain! its at the bottom of the food chain.........the price will work its way up the chain till we are eating rats, cats and dogs like those of the other third world nations.........

You may be right Joe, but I am more concerned it will be over for the performers rather than the audience. Of course, when we start seeing only 10 or so well heeled teams show up, we'll probably stop going. How much more does it cost us to roundtrip to Haubstadt now than it did last year? $10 or $15? When that stops me from going, I will have quit everything else. It sure won't make me stay at home and read about it on my computer when I could be there. I would be there tonight if not for my wife's HS class reunion. I don't think the track is going to make any money on this deal if that's their motive. They'll probably lose some in goodwill. BTW, thanks for the updates!!!
