This should be a great non wing event we had 30 cars last year and this year it has grown to the $3000 to Win $300 to start event.

This has been on my must see list since it was announced the non wing cars always put on a great show at Fremont

GREAT job Aaron, glad to see you can land a nice purse like this. Helps pay the bills man. Cost alot to race and alot to enjoy racing.

BUMP :22: Hope to see quite a few Indiana teams make the tow. This is good money up for the takin.:32: Ask Shu or T-Mez how they liked Fremont.:6:
This is Saturday May 4th |
I am heading to Fremont to hopefully see a great show. Little concerned with a great car count with Lawrenceburg running a 2k to win show, Waynesfield has their opener with nw sprints, and the regular IN Saturday tracks running. Anyone have a confirmed list of the drivers running Fremont? Any confirmed drivers coming from IN?

There open tire rule helps the car counts I think.

I found it interesting that the 410s are off that week but the 305s are the support division. Last year a 305 won the event. I would guess some 305 guys will still run but who knows about the 410 winged guys.
I wish I could go but I have other commitments. Posted via Mobile Device |

They've learned how to prep the track better for the non wingers over the past few years. Running 305s instead of 410s should help, won't see a 305 win this year,IMO. Especially if some seasoned Indiana guys show. Local 410's Linder and Smith will probably run.

Re: Fremont Speedway $3300 to Win $300 to Start
BOSS now has 18 drivers who have verbally committed to chase points in 2013. Add in the MTS regulars, the Fremont locals (yes there are some taking the wings off 410 and 305), and then add in some surprises. Car count should not be a problem. Just hoping for great weather and a safe race!
The feature pays $3300 to win. Theoretically, if a driver wins his heat ($50) and wins the feature on all Hoosiers (free tire $220 value) and passes the most cars ($50 hard charger), then that driver/team would take home roughly $3620 in cash and prizes PLUS a giant check! And if a steel block car wins it like last year, that's another $50 bonus!! |
