Jackslash Media Inc. and the Lucas Oil owned Mav TV Network have agreed to a 26 show TV deal for 2013.

The 30 minute program will feature Indiana sprint Car racing including the Midwest Sprint Car Series (MSCS), the King of Indiana Sprint Car Series (KISS) and selected dates throughout Indiana.

"We are so excited and grateful for this opportunity," said Jackslash Media Inc.'s Sean Buckley.

"Indiana is the world's center of 410 nonwing sprint car racing and a good TV package has been long overdue," Buckley added.

The great racing, drivers, and personalities at Tri State Speedway, Bloomington Speedway, Lawrenceburg Speedway, Kokomo Speedway, Gas City I-69 Speedway, Lincoln Park Speedway, and Paragon Speedway will be featured on the program.

"I think this deal will bring more marketability and credibility to Indiana Sprint Car racing, said Tri State Speedway track owner and operator Tom Helfrich.

"I'm looking forward to this and excited to see the benefits throughout the season," Helfrich added.

The 26 show run will begin in May and will continue throughout the Spring, Summer, and Fall.

Well all I can say is I am proud of you.

No way this is even a blip on the USAC radar, they are holding out for a 3 yr. $30,000,000 deal with CBS in prime time!!! They did away with pavement sprints so that they would not be bothered with a series that MSR is growing on a small Midwest TV network. They have been very successful in destroying the midget and SC series! But, they have Off-road trucks and Sprinters left, and that is a full plate for a group that only has a $1,000,000 + payroll!;)

I was told today when I called that I had all of the channels Comcast offers and I couldn't find it. I asked them to look it up and she said that it isnt available if its not on the channel line up. SHe looked for me and couldn't find it either. I asked why they wouldn't have it available when it is a local company covering local racing and she said that happens sometimes. I asked what I had to do to get it and she said if they have enough people call in and request it, it might be added. Anyone else have any other info on this? I would really like to have it. Im in Kokomo so I'm assuming its the same for Indy. She had said this market didn't have it.

Going to have check my ATT Uverse when I get home. As big as the bill is, I sure hope it's there. If not, there's always the web. Congratulations Sean.

As soon as I read this I called Dish to see if I could get it, I could for only $3 more. I also mentioned that I had recieved offers from Direct, and they give me $5 credits for 10 months.....

I just emailed the Cablesystem in Toledo to add MAV TV. Everyone must push for MAV TV across the country to reward their support of Indiana non wing sprint car racing. Sean you are the best!!

Awesome to hear Sean, since I'm pretty much always at Lincoln Park Speedway on Saturday and in the newspaper office on Sunday, it'll be nice to be able to see some footage on TV of the other tracks I can't get away to see on a regular basis.
You've done a ton to further the sport and the coverage via TV is just the next step!

So is MavTv a national channel? I'm in northern Illinois so would my MavTV have the Indiana races on it or is it like FoxSports where each region has different programs?

To my knowledge MAVTV is not like FoxSportsNet. IF you get the channel you should be able to watch.

The more people who contact Mav Tv and their cable provider will help this show. If enough people add and or request Mav TV the higher ups will notice that this show has increased their viewers!
