SprintCar and Midget Magazine
 

Anyone know when the March copy of SprintCar and Midget magazine hits the mail. Wintering in Florida and I'm afraid there has been screw up with the mail.

The mailman finished up with mine and delivered it yesterday here in Terre Haute.

Got most of the March issue yesterday here in The Land O' Lincoln and crooked politicians.

What I mean by "most of it" is that every month the front or back cover, or both, are torn and shredded and sometimes a good bit of them is gone.

Kinda' irritating.

...the down side of Danny Burton's retirement...he now has to subscribe to all these magazines. got mine yesterday also, excellent part 2 on the "how to shoot" photography by Chris Jones, bob.

mine come's the same way,guess that rules out the postal delivery lady

I think ours came Tuesday, we have told the mailman they can read whatever they want as long as it is in a timely manner, of course they don't but they are welcome. I want them on my side when the stuff hits the fan and I am sure it won't be long until we have had enough of being pushed around, postal workers are the best ones to have in your corner when that day comes. :)

Another great issue of S.C.M. Jimmy Wilson as always keeps me wanting more, great article on the stress factor by P. Sullivan plus another piece of wisdom brought to you by K.Olsen and as he does so well Dave Argabright covers one of the good guys the way that only Dave can.

As far as it being torn up I think you can call and have that taken care of, not sure of the number maybe Danny can help us out?

Mine arrived on Wednesday. I'm not sure that SC&M forwrds, guys. I'm trying to remember if I received mine while in North Carolina last March. I'm failing miserably.

Haven't had that much of a problem with Sprint Car and Midget arriving like that, but Flat Out often comes dilapidated.

Ours is torn up also. Protective plastic wrap for shipping would be nice. The cover material of the magazine isn't skimpy, rather thick and nice, so a shipping wrap Would help for people trying to collect and keep from damage. Either way keep em coming!

The damaged magazines are the ones that are probably run throughan automated machine. Makes delivery more timely, or it's said. And I have a race track to sell you, too. :19:

I moved last year and didn;t recieve couple of issues when called post office was told they DON:T forword magazines :7:

I received mine Saturday with the cover was all ripped up and a sticker applied by the local Post Office stating "Received in Bad Condition".:5: But, at least I got it.:D

Don't know about all magazines but I'm pretty sure they don't forward SCM because it's mailed at a pre-sort (junk mail) rate, which does not forward.

If moving, let Doug Auld know ASAP before you move.
