CMakin, or Carey Makin started this a few years ago. In deference to Carey, since he started this, it would be nice if you'd let him post his picture first. You know, there are a few privileges with senority.

This is my first stop in the morning to look at the first rate photos you guys take. I also believe that since Carey started this thread and has religiously worked on providing us with his quality work, that he should be the one to start it off each and every day.

Not asking anyone to quit posting, just being honest and asking everyone to respectfully give him his due. Keep up the good work for all of our enjoyment.:6:

1st off I'm Sorry Carey, I thought this was a 1st come 1st serve. I respect all the photographers action pics. Myself, I'm not a pro- photographer. Thats why most of my pics are still pics of cars an drivers. I couldn't come close to taking great action pics on my digital camera. I rather watch the action on the track. On that note I won't post any more of my pics, an again I'm Sorry to you Carey. An any1 else I may have offended. Lloyd

Please don't quit posting pictures. I just think that Carey deserves the first opportunity to start the thread since he came up with this whole thing a while back. I enjoy ALL of the pictures including yours. You don't have to be a professional photographer, only a race fan with a camera who is willing to shoot the action. Your contribution is appreciated.

Lloyd, nobody asked you to stop posting. It's just an unwritten rule that cmakin starts off these posts. No big deal. I post pictures of winged cars in Canada, which is completely against the grain around theses parts. We all start somewhere... BTW, the majority of us on here have real jobs, the photography is just a chance to become involved a little more in the sport we all love.

Agreed. Keep posting. Very few of us are pros, just people who enjoy the sport and enjoy snapping some shots. Keep the pics coming, just let cmakin start it up.

By all means, don't quit posting. In the long run, I really don't care who starts it. As far as being pro, I can assure you that I am just a fan that likes to take pictures, and I am kinda handy at it, from time to time.

A couple. When I was in Dubai a few years back, I didn't have access to Flickr, where I store my photos. I guess I could have used Smugmug.

I don't usually get sick but when I do, it is a real doozie, and there might be a couple of those. There are also times when I am offshore and there isn't any internet access, but those times are pretty rare these days. I have posted POD from Mexico, Turkey, various places in the US, the UK, Norway and the Caribbean. I think I even did one from the airports in Amsterdam and Paris and some other odd places. I challenge myself to get it done every day that I can, no matter where I am.
