Hoosiers,,,,,,OT
This is Indiana Basketball!!!

Coming from a die hard Jayhawk its good to see the Hoosiers back on top. The college basketball world appreciates Indiana basketball. If not us I'd rather see you than the damn wildcats heels and blue devils.

Yea, they have us Wildcat fans crying all the way to the Trophy Case, not anti Hoosier, just pro Wildcat, hopefully, they meet again.

John,
Keep on winning, stay on top, win another one of those big trophies and they too, can choose who they want to play, UK was down for several years, I know what it feels like to be back on top. Enjoy it, maybe in a few years Cal will decide that he needs to play the Hoosiers again. everybody likes the chance to knockoff a #1, tough to stay up there, Good luck. Bill May |

bfranks,
It's quite obvious Cal didn't want to play them this season, otherwise, they would have been on the schedule. Please don't take the trophy away until Cal is proven guilty of NCAA violations and not by the court of opposing fans, we all have our warts, I don't think we want to go there. Bill may |
Re: Hoosiers,,,,,,OT
UK wanted a game with IU. UK wanted it to be on a bigger stage and IU's only comprimise was to play at Rupp, Bloomington and Indianapolis over three years. No way UK should ever agree to 2 of 3 games in Indiana.

Re: Hoosiers,,,,,,OT
Its not about the crowds and the rims, its about the arena capacity and how lucrative the tv contract is. Its the reality of college sports now. If IU didn't want to get on board and UK can find a more lucrative deal, that's how its going to go. Look at all the schools jumping conferences if you don't believe me. The big schools know how much money is at stake with college football and basketball.

Re: Hoosiers,,,,,,OT
Surely, you didn't expect Cal to play his 2nd team against the Hoosiers last year, I will say, I like a team with good seasoned, experienced players, rather than mostly rookies.
You are right about Cal taking a couple of years to recover,Looks like he will get thumped a few times this year. UK & the Hoosiers will meet again sometime, it's a small world. Good luck in the meantime. Bill May |
