It should be 2 at Indy, 2 at Springfield, 2 at Du Quoin. The rest looks ok.

Re: 2013 USAC Silver Crown Schedule
Hello IOW racing friends,
Let me say this honestly, I know this is off topic from miledirt's post in regard to the 2013 USAC Silver Crown Schedule. I do apologize to miledirt and all my IOW friends if this reply is way off topic. Well, I have been silent about expressing any comment, complaint, or criticism in regard to the Silver Crown posts on the IOW message board. I have read all the posts, and for all intent and purpose for my own sanity, not responded. True, everyone has the right to their opinion and I do respect that by all means. I will make this statement in all sincerity, I have no clue as to what USAC will decide as far as Silver Crown racing presently or in the the future. But, I do know this, I have seen many Silver Crown races in the past and I have loved them all. Yup! loved them all, I just love Silver Crown racing and without a doubt I would say all IOW readers do as well. I am very optimistic that there will be a 2013 USAC Silver Crown racing season, and for years to come. All I can say is this, I will be there in the pits taking photos and chatting with drivers, crew members, and friends as I have for over 50 + years of 'race chasin'. So, bottom line for a 2013 USAC Silver Crown Schedule from the way I see it is probably a mere dream. But, here's that dream I would love to see for the 2013 USAC Silver Crown Schedule and for years to come: Make a schedule of ALL the tracks (the ones that still exist today) that have ever held a big car, champ car, Silver Crown race and get down to good ole' USA open wheel racing. A short story made long...sorry about that, Happy Thanksgiving IOW friends, Midwest Connection, Rich |

Here's a crazy idea: Indiana Silver Crown Week. Big cars on the bullrings.

Re: 2013 USAC Silver Crown Schedule
Racing on the high banks was tried in the late 1980s -- Salem -- and there was a very poor car count. Fans paid for a 100 lap and it was cut to 50.

Rebuild the Dirt Mile at the Minnesota State Fair.

Re: 2013 USAC Silver Crown Schedule
The SC cars are great on half miles. Some that could be added include Des Moines, IA, Sedalia, MO, and Hutchison, KS. I would love to see more miles, though.

Re: 2013 USAC Silver Crown Schedule
Start the season out West. Don't end it there.
Sacremento Mile (Would need to build some walls and a fence, but it would be cool) Calistoga Perris Vegas? (Western Swing is getting cocky for an attempt to revive the series but would be nice for the fans out on the west coast. Maybe save it for 2014) IRP Indy Milwaukee Iowa Springfield DuQuoin Gateway Belleville Knoxville & Sedalia (Another two 2014 options) Williams Grove (Eastern Swing?) Syracuse Toledo Eldora Lawrenceburg (2014?) Terre Haute |
