Announced tonight the No Way Out 40 is moving to Brownstown Speedway in 2013. Race date is March 30th.
|
Then it's not the no way out 40. You can't move history.

Re: No Way Out 40 at Brownstown
So the Hoosier Fall Classic was run first at Avilla and moved to LBurg for the remainder of its life. Many other races have moved including the Hut Hundred.
Least we won't be seeing cars flip out of the park, Hopefully anyways. No its not the track that Hockett last won NW but no reason it can't be the NWO |
That sucks take it from a speed factory to a snails track, wow never thought I wouldn't be looking forward to the No Way Out 40

Could it be any worse than the last 2 at NV? This years was a little better, but in 2011 that race was terrible. At the very least it should be safer at Brownstown.

Re: No Way Out 40 at Brownstown
sounds like a good race, please keep the water truck off the track while the cars are racing under green though!

Re: No Way Out 40 at Brownstown
they usually have their indiana ice breaker around that time (10k lucas oil lm). just don't see them having two big races around the same time. stranger things have happened over there with tim keithly at the helm.

Re: No Way Out 40 at Brownstown
Shouldn't have to worry bout falling thru bleachers now.

Re: No Way Out 40 at Brownstown
i thought NV had a new promoter. It would've been a great way to kick thins off.I pray it rains all week before that race at Btown. I also hope it's 2 nights, like NV has been in the past.

I figure the Fleetwoods own the race and probably don't want to give to the place that just removed them.

I made the water truck comment because that was a bonehead move to put it on the track under green and risk hurting a driver during the usac show a year ago.

We won't see anyone flip out of the place, but maybe we can see someone hit a grader, ask Chad Boat.

It had moisture through all the heats and there were, a ton of cars! It did start to go a little slick in the B-Mains and definitely in the features, but was excellent for the number of cars.
I think the No Way Out can have moisture all night if they work it good again! Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: No Way Out 40 at Brownstown
they will have to work the track all week with the lucas series running the week before. you know the track will be black from that...been there done that!!!
|
Yes, they need to definitely till it up after that and water the crap out of it all week or maybe mother nature will help some too.
Wonder if this will be a Friday/Saturday show or just the No Way Out on Sat.? Get Pete Abel to work the track! He will show them how to get it done! Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: No Way Out 40 at Brownstown
You can believe that the track will be worked on all week after the Icebreaker. They are there most of the week working on it to begin with.
