Traffic is stopped at the 46 mile marker right now. This info is from Team Foxco at 1:23pm.

....and apparently a real mess between there and Terre Haute.
It also appears they've set up a detour onto Rt. 40 westbound all the way to Terre Haute, then from Martinsville, Illinois to Casey Illinois, for those heading to Little Belleville.

That will probably result in disaster when they get to Brazil. One lane most of the way thru town. Cops go on break. Probably standing water halfway across US40. Good luck.:(

The traffic from I-70 through Brazil will come to a hault because US 40 is closed at Rose Hulman in Terre Haute also 46 & I-70 ramps are under water state road 41 is closed at the Allendale Hill in southern Vigo County State High way Department is at this time Closing I-70 in Clay & Vigo Countys also state Roads 42,46 & 59

Sounds like 65 is shut down as well Diana (my wife) just called and she was heading to Nashville and they are being turned around across the medium around mile marker 85-90.

Also heard from a couple of teams who went 65 and have been turned around as well.

At 2:19, Scotty Hampton is on interstate 64, mile marker 88 and so far has made it through. Good luck to everyone! Anyone up for a boat race?:greenflag:

Be careful. The local station said much of Spencer is under water and many Owen County roads are closed. Spencer had 10.5 inches of rain since last night.

They're talking about a lake (Amazon Lake) that sits just off 231, close to where 67 splits off of it, heading towards Gosport/Paragon. They're worrying that the dam might not hold. That might be an area to avoid.

Took me an hour or so to get thru Brazil earlier today. Took 40 to 41 then to I70.

Thanks to Morty for the updates on the one Illinois detour which wasnt to bad at all.Bell Clair Speedway,here I come!
