The A.M.S.A. Lightning Mini Sprints will be at the Montpelier Motor Speedway on Saturday September 22nd.:8: All 1000cc and 1200cc Mini Sprints are welcome to join us for a good night of racing. This will be a wing race. Hope you all can make it, see you there.:22:

Saturday is about upon us, are you ready for a good night of racing. Calling all 1000cc and 1200cc Lightning Mini Sprints. All is invited to join us. Lets have a good car count. We have just one more point race on the 29th of Sept. at U.S.24 Speedway, this is our rescheduled from the rain out.

Wings are like training wheels on your bike when you were a kid. Once you take them off you don't want to put them back on.

Fact is some of the best drivers in the USA race both ways. Racen is racen with or without wings.

The only difference is at Montpelier this week end the 1000cc winged midgets will be about 1 to 1 1/2 seconds faster than the fastest full midget was last week.

When you do get on your head, "and you will" that old wing will go a long way in saving your hide, and believe it or not that $500.00 wing will save you a lot of money in car repairs.

They tend to take a lot of bounce out of a flip.

I probably will put them on so I can do both wing and non wing events next year for more seat time. That and I've never driven a winged car in my life and would like to give it a shot...;)

amsa will be at us 24 on 9/29 2012 for a non wing race
this is the make up race from the rain out a while back
