If Toney would guaranteed a purse for this race
he could probley get good car count but most racers
are not going to show up then find out the winner
cant make enough to cover pit pass show us the money we
will show you the cars
also track prep needs done before start not at start time
nobody wants to watch watertruck races
this track had good car counts at one time it usetobe a fun
place to race at back in the day will we need to buy a
competitors license for this one race?:deadhorse:

I am just the ugly cheer leader not the team i hear what you are saying,but if we get the cars coming out we can lobby for some more changes he doesnt want to loose the mini sprints. Me and a few others got him to go solely non wing the rest of this year and all of next,so it can be done. Come out and run Sunday and voice your opinion and lets see if we can get it done. And i think its five dollars for a one time competitors license. and you at least get your pit money back we had 5 cars last week and last place got 30 dollars and had a dnf

Same start times as usual or will it be earlier since its a sunday?

Dont know will find out probably the same but since monday is labor day, will check out the web site and find out...........And i was out of there at 10:00pm last Saturday maybe a little earlier....

Checked the site looks like the time are the same as reagular racing Gates open at 3:30

So call some of your friends and lets get some cars out there, Everybody is through racing this season so come out and give 35 a try, I am not cheerleading for the promoter or the track just the other racers that i race with that deserve to have at least 15 cars a weekend. So reguardless of opinions and talk that you know or hear is true, we need to race for each other and the stupid crap will handle its self. There is power in numbers they say....... Thanks

Are they going to stick to the Hoosier on all 4's for this race?

No there are guy mixing tires if ya have a hoosier on the right rear great if not, nobody is gonna say anything, We told the promoter not even to weigh the 1000 cars because we dont care.....We just want the cars...come out and if anybody complains i can get everybody together and Tony will let us decide"the drivers" So dont worry come on out and have some fun....Thanks

Both 600 and 1000 we mix the class, on a 1/5 mile a 600 can run with a 1000 non wing

I am in Hilton head now on vacation has rained 3 days looking foward to going home and racing this weekend....hope the hurriane rain stays away for Sunday. Screwed up most of my vacation hope it doesnt my racing.........

if we could see a purse structure for 10 cars and 20 cars
we could get moore drivers thinking about this race
we are all in this for fun but still want to know what
the purse is if you truley use to race tony you know
what im talking about

Called Tony he is gonna put the break down on the website tonight, The reason he does not post a purse is because a few years ago he was doing that, another track at the last minite copyed his purse and took alot of his cars for that race. Thats why just so you know......I will try to do what i can to help get the class back up to par

Chad thanks for all you do and have done.

I was not going to respond Kevin but with all your negititive complaints I will to state the facts the purse is not what this is about. Kevin you do noting but complain about things especially what you want to control but cannot like the preping of the track, I want to give all racers the best possible track you call (water truck races) and if you truely race you would have never said to me (I set my car up for the night based on hot laps) what knowledgeable racer would do that NONE! . all you do is consistantly complain about one thing or the other. fact is you know the purse is I have told you before and you know I do not post it for the reasons already stated. Was it last year that they called the you one of Jerrys Kids at the AMSA because you wined and cryed to you got your way. It is irelvant to me because you can continue to spend your money to travel to other tracks and be their pain in the a$$, that will suit me fine, or you could come down and buy this track we would see how you do and I could be your pain in the A$$. Tony every thing i ever said about your race track is true
look at your car count and in your stands at no racetrack
that i have been to they never hot laps then they cut the
track and water it then wheel pack for a hour
prep is done before it is time to start the race i have had a few people call about
raceing there this week but they all want to know about the purse would you come and work for me then at the end of the week i will deceid how much to pay you

Everyone of you mini sprint racers need to take a hard close look at Tony B. He could have said "no more mini sprints" a long time ago but instead has continued to support you, even with all your whinning and crying.

35 Raceway is one of the best prepared tracks anywhere. It was always my understanding that the reason for the early starts to hot laps was because of the break to redo the track, let the fans and drivers grab a bite to eat, use the restroom etc. before the racing starts. Am I the only one who apreciates this effort to have a decent track?

I've heard from some that Tony can be a butthead sometimes but just look at what he puts up with. And any contact I've had with him (not much really) he's treated me like a gentleman. You mini sprint guys better look in the mirror and ask yourself some serious questions. Doesn't sound to me like your are much of a racer. The mini sprint class is a great class for guys who working men and want to race as a hobby. You aren't going to make any $$$ so just go to one of the best prepared tracks in the country and try to race and enjoy yourself while Tony still offers you opportunity.

Had a great time last night at 35. It was nice to see some familiar faces. Lot of the same people still there from the original track. Looks to me like the Tony is running a good track. You can't expect to win $1,000 with less than a dozen cars. We will try to make it back again this season. Hard to drive 2 hours with gas where it is!!!

If you have read too much in to the hype on this site go down and try for yourself... I think you will be happy....
