Fantastic race tonight at the burg. Hendricks took off like a rocket but Hupp tracked him down and was looking for an opportunity to pass when lapped cars entered the equation. Once those two started to dice iit out Chad then entered the battle and worked his way to 2nd after Hupp got trapped behind a lapped car. With a lap to go Chad and Hendricks were side by side with Hupp taking the high road hoping to sneak by on top. Hendrick out dragged Chad to the checkers with Hupp just off the rear bumper of those two. Great run by all three of them and awesome weather to boot!

The reason the #44 J.S.R/Goodsleeve machine T boned the wall this evening was due to a broken steering gear. Chassis is twisted, gonnna be a week or so (time to sell stuff) off. Sucks but thats racing. honestly right now im wondering where the hell the Nungester report is!

I'm just glad Jason got on the brakes quick enough to slow that thing down. Wouldn't have taken much more for the left rear to dig in and get him on his lid.

Agreed, Excellent night at the races and killer racing to boot. Despite Hendricks Starting on the Pole and leading most of it, The last five laps were edge of your seat and three wide at times for the lead between Hendricks, Boespflug and Hupp. Final Lap seen Chad Slide Hendricks for the lead in 1-2 only to get sling shotted down the back straight. Hupp kept the cushion around 3/4 and made a run at the line.

Was kinda upset about the Moffatt Flip, Thats one of those I think if qualifying would have been done, The incident wouldn't have happened. Complaining of sore back as of last night per Angel FB. Hope he's Ok.

I wondered when Soudrette took a right turn if it was the stearing Gear as he posted two weeks ago about needing to fix it to be able to race. Don't know exactly what happened but glad he's ok.

Good to see many BOSS participants last night, Dustin Smith, 59 (Name) Aaron Fry and I think a couple more. :)

Mods,Wow, Matt Hamilton don't run much at the Burg but when he does, He's always fast. Him, His brother Adam and Weasel Rhodes put on a show. With Weassel throwing the biggest monster slidjob I've ever seen by a mod. It was a fun race to watch!

Always love the Pure stocks. Don't let the guys (And lLady) go on the track without one inch lug
nuts on the right rear. at least three.

The Nungester Report once again was spot on.

The Moffatt flip was a concern for us as well. That looked mighty wicked. It looked like even the EMTs drove back to the Moffatt pit during the down time to make sure all was well. Glad he was able walk away with nothing more than Racin' Rheumatism but wish he had better luck.

Speaking of needing better luck the Soudrettes had a well prepared car with a rebuilt steering gear only to have that part fail as Matt explained. Why do racers race? I received another good explanaion from Jason last night while we were surveying the bent #44 iron. The Soudrette clan are the best and I hope they can get through another bump in the road.

Loved the Dwayne Spille ride painted to honor the legendary Dick Gaines. Good looking car.

I'm hoping Chad Boesphlug gets another ride or two with the MaGee #17. This combination jelled immediately.

I would be remiss if I didn't give a shout out to Jonathon Hendrick. He did a great job all night. Near the end we saw him get passed by Boesphlug but was able to battle back and keep both Boesphlug and Logan Hupp at bay at the checkers. Congrats on a well-earned win.

Great night to be in Section A with many of friends and usual suspects (The Mayor, Ed, Danny & grandson #2 and SprintmanDave). Also LeAnn and Todd who brought their next door neighbors once again. They looked like they had a great time. IOWs Eatin' Dirt also stopped by to watch the heat races with us. I was happy to finally meet him. Happy to see Bob, Monica and Jade along with Andrew Quinn as well. We weren't alone as there was another good turnout a fans last night.

Can't wait to do this again.
