Any estimates about the car counts? At Kokomo during Sprint week I heard someone mention 60-70 cars...

treecitytornado 8/15/12 7:45 PM

40 range.

Lets get it on! CANT WAIT! :31: :23:

50 points for Fast Time with a one-point drop. 20 points in the heat with a one-point drop. 100 points to win the feature with a 2-point drop. Perfect night is 170 points. Thanks Spridge.

Sounds like a Point System used at Knoxville, only 500 is a perfect night there.

1,000 to start feature Saturday,500 to start feature Thurs and Friday! I can't imagine any car owner not going to this one. I know if I was still an owner , even if I didn't stand a chance,I'd still wanna be there to be a part of this one. Haven't seen drivers this pumped for a race in years. Can't wait!!:22:

Everyone should try to support this race to make sure it continues in the future. It could turn out to be the closest thing to an annual non-wing nationals we ever have. Thanks to Kokomo for a great purse.

I like how a guy will race his butt off to run 5th on saturday will make $175 more than a guy that will start & park! Lol

I noticed that too, pretty big incentive to pass 17 cars huh? Also noticed $45 pit passes..

This is better. Quick time is only 1/2 as much as a feature win. At Knoxville, they are equal.

cshuman 8/16/12 11:31 PM

Big difference between qualifying at a non wing show at Kokomo and the Knoxville Nationals...

Since I'm only able to go to the Friday portion would I be better off trying general admission, sitting on the back straightaway, or getting a pit pass and going into the pit bleachers?

Good luck getting an actual seat in the pits, it will be packed with crew and family of everyone racing. Pitt pass will get you in the pits to look around and then you can go anywhere to sit as long as its not reserved

I had to be there at 2pm at sprint week to get a top row pit seat but I had no problem getting one, even if I waited till 3 or 3:30. I know smack down is different but I'm thinking it will be similar, at least I hope so lol

Its never going to be perfect for everyone (fans, Drivers, Owners, ect.), but I am so excited to see this event! 3 nights in a row at the best track I know of.

I'm calm chuck. In reading a lot of your posts I noticed you obviously don't care much for USAC and just wondered why. No big deal.
