farmer city cancelled july 22

july 22 Sunday's Terminator is cancelled and will be rescheduled for a later date as Putnamville has rescheduled a Usac race for that date and we do not want to compete with a track who runs them weekly. We hope everyone has a great weekend and we will see you next Friday.

That is a stupid reason...you guys ran last Friday against a USAC sprint week show at Gas City and still had 21 cars.......

Gas city is farther away then Lincoln park to. And since all the teams and fans have already paid to run and watch.

As I recall Daron Clayton is the only person that has run a sprint week race that was at farmer city last Friday...beside me no one else that ran last Friday that would go run p ville....I live only 45 min from p ville and still planned to make the 2 hour drive to farmer city Sunday.....

This might not a be a popular decision but you guys can still compete with the other drivers who are racing Indiana Sprint Week. It's $500 to start if you make the show.

Maybe fc was hoping for few teams on way back from Haubstat sat night for there sun show. Cant control weather so they had no choice then to move thurs rainout to sun. If that was fc plan then smart move. I have seen lot of Illinois plates in parking lot for sprint week.

You can't cancel everytime you think you might step on someone's toes. You would never have a race.

I haven't always been on farmer city's side this year but this is a pretty smart decision. U guys have to remember that the track doesnt make all there money on the back gate. If you were a fan of nonwing sprintcars, and you had the best of Usac 2 1/2 hours away, would you go there or stay home and watch a normal local show. JMO but I think this was a decent move on promoter side

At least they cancelled the day before the race and gave you other options and time to accomadate on whatever decision. I see nothing wrong with the decision...

Hasn't USAC been 500 to start all year?

So the USAC race then pays $400 to start $4900 to win if you aren't a member, what did this race pay?

Yes, It has been $500 to start $5000 to win ALL season. They made a fairly large announcement at the beginning of the season that that would be the minimum payout...

Excellent... I guess I missed this... Oh well too late now. Maybe next year. It is a nice mid season break to do other things. If all us local guys would show up the show would run too long and that seems undesirable for the fans.
