Big E has been awesome lately and i dont think you will have nothing to worry about....The track Saturday was AWESOME!! Seen Sheldon Haud will be there and possibly Jac.

Well he did try the LBurg Nationals last year in the Hoffman Ride, I know his only reason for not running more NW is Purses. I remember 80s-90s when he was running some of the CRA shows including one in the Kodiak Car where he flpped off two while leading. He was ok but being in the infield and seeing his seat belt broken and him slumped over was a chilling sight.

Hope No tire stop either. Make it a race you have to earn If that means put the first 20 and haul the last 30, so be it.

I have been looking forward to this one since it was announced. And dont forget the 360 Winged sprints are on the card as well. Not as excited about the stockers on the card.
How many nonwingers you guys thinking. Over 40?

Wish they would race modifieds instead of stocks with them.... and even with the bumped up purse I don't really see many more sprintcars coming other than the usual guys who do.

The mods put on a good show at Eldora .

I want to go to this so bad, but I'll be at the Brickyard all weekend for NASCAR. I hope everyone has a great time at big E!... And that someone does updates on the race so I can check them on my way home ;)

I had been upset for almost 6 months that the Nationwide and Truck Series weekend along with USAC at ORP, IRP or LOR was done after last year. WAs the best pavement short track event of the year but really excited about this now. Wont even miss what promises to be boring weekend at the brickyard.

I am looking forward to 50 laps. 50 laps was a regular thing on high paying races in the day. They sometime had twin 50. Many of you probably did not know that Eldora Ran a 500 lap sprint race. I believe they did it for 3 years. I was not there but Rick Ferkel told me about it. Rick drove in those races and he ran two of them with the same tire.
That had to be one hard tire.

This works out perfect. I'm from Evansville and my buddy is from Indy. We are going to the best race of the Indy super weekend on Friday. The grand am race plus since im half way to eldora. So Saturday we are headed to even better racing at the Big E. My buddy is a road racer himself and has never ever seen a sprint car race. What better way to brake him in with wings and non wing. Can't wait :)

Its not 1986 anymore. Very few if anyone could make it on fuel. A 33 gallon tank couldnt get you to the end. A 50 lap race at a half mile is next to impossible without a fuel stop. Tires wont make it 50 laps either especially with wing sprinters as a support class. Hopefully they make it 30 laps so we can see a good race and the best driver wins, not the guy who idled around for 30 laps waiting on everyone to run out of fuel and blow tires.

Haha, for the record the Brickyard is a family thing for me. My parents have been to every 400, and my grandfather looks forward to it more than anything each year. It's more for the bonding than the racing that weekend.

I for one am all for a 50 lap feature over a 30. It adds a little more of an endurance factor to it, and laps at Eldora always seem to go by so quick.

They had to have a "Fuel RED FLAG" for the Kings on Saturday, it was 40 laps but couldnt even make that because of the cautions.
